more less is more!

Here is my card for this weeks simplylessismoore challenge. The theme this time is a sketch. The DP is either side of a double sided paper from My minds eye. The sentiment was made on pc (fonts are: Arial and Saginaw), circle and scalloped circle cut from nesties and then used the legendary swiss dots on the circle and also the dividing section. The brown and cream flower is a brad from Anna Griffen. Hope this CAS enough!

as you can see, we were one of the first to sit down (couldnt wait, lol!) our seats were in level 1 which were pretty good, but wouldnt have fancied sitting in the upper level seats.

We had the most fantastic time, while I know its not everyone's cuppa, we thoroughly enjoyed the show, my own personal fave is Matt Cardle, however my daughter thinks that One Direction are now my guilty pleasure, lol! She is completely in love with Aiden.

A sunny Good Morning!

Ok, so it might be a bit on the chilly side, but it sooooo nice to see some sunshine!

One from me today, the little cutie on this card is currently available as a freebie from the very cute Di's digi downloads, the dp papers are from dovecraft, the matting and laying of the circles was a wonderful bit of inspiration from Vicky, the with love section is part of an embossing folder.

I would like to enter this card in:

KB cute monday - use the colour pink
Paper playtime - anything goes with a digi

Hope the sun shines for you all today too xx

Good Morning Blogfriends!

Hi all, Sunday morning started a little early for me, thanks to Nippy, so I thought i'd make use of the time and upload a couple of cards:-

Firstly, this baby boy card features the super cute Giraffe which was a digi freebie a while ago from the wonderful Pink Gem, the DP is from a Forever Friends stack and is proof that some yummy papers are for life - not just christmas, lol! Have also used a c'bug embossing border. The bow and the charm were both from The Range.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
Less is More - pastels
Phindy'sPlace - oh Baby
Meljens - UR such an animal
Send a smile 4 kids - anything goes

Next up, is a card made following a birthday card request from a lovely DC'er for her daughter. I know that this little mousie is actually called Malcolm, but I think I can get away with a bit of "artistic license" here! He was a freebie digi last year from Digi Stamp boutique and is still one of my faves! The gorgeous gingham was also a freebie and was downloaded from the wonderful blog of Bev Rochester. Have mounted the image using Go Kreate concentrics (sim to nesties), have added a couple of dewdrops and buttons and the mini tag was cut from an Xcut punch.
I would like to enter this card in these challenges:
Craftycatz - special birthday
CraftySentiments - birthdays
the abc challenge - p is for pink
freshbrewed - pink and paper piecing
Have a great day, catch you later xx

Things we do in the name of Charity!

At work we do a lot of fundraising, every year the company has a nominated charity we support and this year it is Teenage Cancer Trust. One of the faves is dressing up days at work and today we did "letters day" - basically go to work dressed in something connected with the first letter of your name. I sat and pondered, but couldnt think of anything do-able, so I asked my wonderful friends on the DC forum for ideas. We got some fab suggestions, but this is what Karen (aka Redrottie) came up with, which I couldnt resist doing:-

I am a L plate!

even did my name badge to complete the look, lol

I would like to enter this card in Pear Tree Designs week 38 Ribbons challenge.

Must rustle some dinner up know, back later xx
