My wonderful parents made me up a 40 bag, and here are the contents:

My dad also got me a box of "berties" (love 'em!)

I received some stunning cards from some of my wonderful DoCrafts friends and DTeamies

ooeer! my days are numbered!!

Hope you're all having a good week! I am trying to make the best of things, considering this will be my last week as a "thirty-something"....arrhhhggh, I come over all peculiar every time I think about it!!! Im not really a one for wild parties (hangovers and me do not do well together) but am planning a day out in London on Saturday with my mum and my kids, going to do lots of touristy, sightseeing stuff. On Sunday its a bit of a family do, and then on Monday (the day itself) I've booked the day off from work and am planning to stay in my jim-jim's for most of the morning and then the hubby and I are heading out for a drive and stopping off for a bit of a pub lunch.........I have also dropped numerous very unsubtle hints that I would enjoy my lunch all the better for a trip to Oyster Stamps shop first, so we shall see.

Anyway, onto cards and such, and this is what I've been working on:

I Made it for the Dolly Mixtures challenge over on Docrafts. This completely yummy paper is from the stack I brought in Scotland and have been bursting to use. This is the new Lucy Cromwell set from Papermania, and you know sometimes you but a paper stack and there is the dodgy page that you would never ever use, well, in this stack there isnt one single duffer - they are all gorgeous! Have mounted my LOTV image onto a scalloped circle then onto a Nellie Snellen doily die. The three flowers are cut with a marianne die, the silver embelly came from a set from the works, I've added to it with a glittered brad. The sentiment was made used Callie hand font.

So, I would also like to enter this into these challenges:
divas by design - to die for
the squirrel and the fox - make it sparkle
passion for promarkers - glitter and pastels
bunny zoes crafts - girls, girls, girls

Thats me for now, as a certain wee furball is waiting for his walk, so i'll catch you later xx

Anyone recognise this card...........

Hope you're all having a good week! Its been pretty non stop for me since I got back from the hols. I have taken over the role of sponsorship co-rordinator with The Cutie Pie team and have been busy, busy, busy there as well as the inconvenience of having to go to work too, so not a lot of card making this week, but did just want to blog a card that I made before I went away. This is a birthday card for
a fellow docrafter - but for the life of me I cant remember who it was!!! So if anyone does happen to recognise it, I hope you liked it.

I would like to enter this into these challenges:
bunny zoes crafts....girls, girls, girls
lexis creations.....happy birthday
deconstructing jen.....skethc no 56

have a good evening.....if you're a footie fan "c'mon england"

Hope you're all having a good weekend, blooming windy here today, but at least its dry. xx

One for the little 'un!

Hope you're having a great week......cant believe its Thursday already! But that means challenge day with Aud Sentiments and this time its all about making a card with a sentiment for a child. As we are now in week B, here is my DT card:

and this is a card I made recently for my step grandsons birthday, using a pre coloured LOTV image. The stripey paper is from the works and the sentiment is printed straight on uisng tempus sans font.

As you may know, I have just returned from a trip to Scotland where we visited my hubbys family and got to spend time with the little chap in question, here he is at the bowling alley with Megan:

yep, he is as much of a little herbert as he looks too, lol!

catch you all soon xx

Guess who's back.......

Yep, lil old me, just back from my weeks holiday in Lossiemouth in the North of Scotland....will tell you all more about that in  the coming days.....and may even share a photo or two, but for now I must get onto to todays cutie pie challenge. These are exciting times for us although sadly a couple of our wonderful DT ladies have decided to stand down, we now have some lovely, shiny new cuties on the team! I would like to welcome Wendy, Sarah, Debs and Kaz, all of whom will be amazing cuties im sure!

Anyway, so about this challenge.......our theme this time is REAL OR FAUX STITCHING, which I think could be a bit of a popular one!
We are sponsored this time by:

thank you to them xx

So onto my DT card, and it had to be faux stitching for me!
I have used Bugaboo digi stamp here, love it 'cos it reminds me sooo much of my Cameron! Stitching was added to my chosen papers using page plus se, with everything then mounted onto kraft paper, sentiment on tag was also produced on page plus. We would love to have you joining in with us, so hop on over and see us!

Looking forward to having a good catch up with you all xx
