Hi all, hope you're all having a great week, its been a busy week at work for me so not had a lot of time to blog, have been making quite a few cards though, as we have been doing a bit of fundraising for Epilepsy Awareness, so I have left a box of cards in our canteen, and have so far sold quite a few and got a couple of orders....yay!
Did want to share one card with you, and that is a birthday card I made for one of my very good friends at work, who turned 40 this week, and as a recent recriut to the 40's club myself, it is a standing joke between us that just 'cause we're getting older, we're not ready to get too old yet, lol. The quality of the photo is a bit pants, but as we're not really enjoying the best light at the moment that is unsurprising!
I have used:
- LOTV image coloured with promarkers
- Blue dotty paper from Bo Bunny, have had the yellow flowery one in my stash for ages (it was given to me as an 8 x 8 piece and I have tried to use smallish amounts at a time to last it out 'cause its so pretty!!!)
- Border die is from Cheery Lynn
- own sentiment, font is Tempus sans
- twine is from dovecraft (found it in wilko's the other day, when I nipped in to get washing powder and a new tin opener!!!)
- also, buttons and flowers from my stash
Happy to report that she thought it was wonderful!
I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
simon says stamps - anything goes
bunny zoes crafts - girly
cheery lynn designs - Celebrate
My Craft spot - strings and things
one stop craft - recipe challenge
sweet stampin - lots of layers
thats it from me for now.........will do my best to catch up with you all xx

So I hope you're all having a lovely week....after the gorgeous weather earlier in the week today has been soooo cold, damp and murky, which isnt great when you're having to leave the back door open all the time as our builders and electrician are in and out......but the bathroom is nearly done now, YAY!

"Oh, oh, oh....its Magic"
So did that get you singing, hehehe! So its Monday and once again its challenge day with

"Magical"
We want to see the cutest magical cards you can come up with, Wizards, Fairies, Pixies, Elf's whatever you can conjure up that's magical will fit right in!!
Our challenge is sponsored by
BUGABOO
Our challenge is sponsored by
BUGABOO
So what to do with a magical theme was a bit of a no-brainer for me......as I am a bit of a Potter fan
I just had to use this fabby image that our friends at Bugaboo gave us to play with. I've coloured this with promarkers (sadly dont own a claret pen, but I tried to get as close to Gryffindor colours as I could) also added a wee dollop of glossy accent to the specs.
Found this grey gingham paper amongst my Mums stash and have added a section of red gingham washi tape. The star is an X-cut die. Thank you to a certain Ms Rowling for the fabby sentiment!
Do hope you'll join in with us this time round, click on the link at the top to play along and also check out the other wonderful DT cards

Hello to you all....hope you're having a lovely Saturday.....I believe that some of you are enjoying some sunshine today, its just a bit grey and cold here in Kent though.
The bathroom renovations are going well, I have been taking photos as the week has gone on, which I may bore you all with when its all done. With all thats been going on though, I think my crafting mojo may have found its way into one of the many rubble sacks in the garden, so I had a mooch around blogland and found a cute little sketch to get me going....this is the sketch:
and together with the theme of "Dear Friend", this is the current challenge at digi sketch challenge, so I am entering with my card.

Lots of Flowers for Forever Friends!
Hi all, the renovations in my bathroom continue, I find myself coming in from work and just wanting wipe surfaces, we now have a new ceiling in the bathroom, one less wall and a doorway filled in....its going well, apparently!
So, its time for the next Forever Friends Monthly Challenge......and this time its Lots of Flowers, you may have noticed that im not really a "Lots of..." kinda girl, but I did my bestest.
Our sponsors this time are - Digi Stamp Characters, and for our FF Favourite - Whoopsi Daisy
My FF bear is coloured with promarkers, and I've used Go Kreate Circular and Scalloped Circle dies, and mounted onto a doily from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. The flowers are a Joy Craft die with brads from my stash and the wee tag is a sizzix die with wording from a cuttlebug folder.
Once again our DT have made some wonderful cards for this challenge, which you can see here as well as joining in
