Hello to an old favorite!

Hello to you all, hope you've had a lovely weekend and seen a bit of sunshine today! As fairly decent weather had been forecasted today.....finally, I had hoped that we would maybe have a run out somewhere - coast or countryside, Im not fussy, however the hubby decided that it was the perfect opportunity to replace the shed roof (which to be fair, hasnt coped with such a cold, wet and windy winter) so the today has been a lot harder work than I had expected it to be, he has, however, agreed to cook dinner tomorrow as a kind of trade off.
Had a lovely crafting afternoon with my Mum on friday, the batteries in my camera died on me when I started taking some snaps of what I'd made, so will have some more cards so share with you later in the week, but this is the first one..........
I have used:
Image: from Digi stamp boutique (this really is an old favorite) coloured with promarkers
Paper: Glitz
dies: Marianne creatables square and butterfly, Nellie Snellen label
also: ribbon was a recent purchase from Hobbycraft, pearls from stash

I would like to enter this into these challenges:
Off to bed now, but will be back tomorrow with a new Cutie Pie challenge......night-night, sleep tight xx

Hi all, hope you're having a good week so far.........we watched Les Mis last night (film not the show), oh my goodness it was wonderful, if you've not seen it yet, absolutely do!!! I've had a head filled with songs all day.

So, as you can see I have a little card for you, and I found a gorgeous sketch to play with.....will tell you about that bit in a mo.....
I have coloured my LOTV image with promarkers, and mounted onto pink cardstock, the mint green card is c'oredinations whitewash card (front and back) which I have embossed with a Crafts-too folder and either inked around the edge or given a bit of faux stitching. The wee tag is a sizzix die and the butterflys are both Marianne creatables. The twine, brads and candi are from my stash.

The sketch is from this weeks challenge at sketch and stash, so I would like to enter this card into this challenge.

I would also like to enter these challenges:

anyone for Tea???

Hi all, hope you are fine and well today. Sooo, lucky old me, I was the winner of last weekends Saturday candy from My Crafty Heart........and a very yummy parcel from the lovely Teresa arrived today. I had hoped that it would, and I spent most of this morning at work planning a bit of crafting time this afternoon, however I was barely through the front door when Megan thrust a Wii controller in my hand and gave me the puppy dog eyes to play Just Dance with her. How could I refuse, the poor old bird is revising sooo hard for her GCSE's at the moment, she needs a bit of funtime too - so that was that.

Do have one card to share today, and this is another for the box that I have in my canteen at work, the profits from the sale of these cards will now be going to the Alzheimers Society, who we will be supporting for the next year.

I have used:
Bildmalarna stamp (isnt she a little sweetie!!) coloured with promarkers and a wee dot of white sakura gelly pen on her cheeks
Nellie Snellen die (scalloped edge rectangle) spellbinders lacy circle nestie, X-cut scalloped edge border punch, Memory box Freemont Crest die
White dp is from a Me to You stack,  the blue dotty paper from Bo Bunny
Sentiment from LOTV
sticky gems from stash

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
lexis creations - punches and dies
a gem of a challenge - make it cute

So here we are with another challenge with The Cutie Pies and our theme this time is.....
Favorite Films
Gotta be honest with you all, I did find this a bit of a head scratcher at first......I have a very varied taste in films, but the likes of Chicago or The Shawshank Redemption or Terminator 2 dont really scream "cute"....and then I stopped and thought about my fave chick flick/weepie and knew I was onto something, so I have chosen....The Notebook (makes me bawl my eyes out everytime and the lovely Ryan Gosling is a bit of a bonus too!!)
