A little Sunday Something!

Hello again, my dear friends.....so, what sort of weekend are we having then? Its a grey and damp one here today, although we did see a little sunshine yesterday. After spending this morning doing some housework, hubby and I went out for a mooch around the shops and for a Costa and now he has gone to look at a friends printer that isn't working, so I decided to add another little card here.

I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous LOTV stamp for Christmas and had been looking forward to getting inky with it.

Todays card features:

  • LOTV stamp, I think its called The Big Kick
  • coloured with promarkers
  • dotty card from Annamarie designs
  • embossed sentiment
  • sticky back pearls from stash
  • inspiration for the layout taken from sketch saturday challenge (see below)
Once again, I've gone for a fairly simple design here.

Just before I go, I must tell you - had the most wonderful time on Wednesday when I went to see Les Miserables with my mum and daughter. I adore the film but this was the first time I had seen the show. The cast were tremendous and it was just an amazing experience!  I went into the interval wanting to join the French Revolution and by the end of the show I was in tears - it is quite something to be moved in so many ways, in one afternoon. Highly recommended, if you haven't seen it!

Simply No:7!

Good Morning to you all and what a wet, windy old day it is too here. We're going to brave the elements later as we are heading into London for the day - my Mum has wanted to see Les Miserables' for a long time so my daughter decided to treat the three of us to tickets to the show for our Christmas present. We were planning to have a mooch along Oxford Street first, but looking out of the window this morning, I have decided we will stop for lunch and shopping at Westfield, nr the Olympic park instead.

So keeping up with my plan to blog more, today's card is a more simple design.
this card features:
  • LOTV, No. 7 bear
  • coloured with promarkers
  • sentiment made with embossing folder
  • dotty card from Limetree crafts
  • card candi coloured with promarkers to co-ordinate

The one with the Krafty Cuties

Hello there, my lovely friends......I hope all is fine and well with you all.

It has been a very quite blog time for me as last year ended, almost as difficultly as it started. Very sadly, my brother lost his fight with cancer on the 30th December. He had been diagnosed with it being in his lungs, liver and brain, and it had just started to attack his stomach too. Just before Christmas he was admitted to St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley, and we spent a lot of Christmas day there with him. He really was in such a lot of pain, so we do take so much comfort in knowing that this pain has now gone. There was never going to be any other outcome and he is now at peace, his funeral will be this Wednesday.

Richard would've been one of the first to say that life must go one, and go on it must. Today we have the inspiration post for the current Cutie Pie challenge. Out theme this time is
Krafty Cuties
and we would like to see your Cute cards with the addition of Kraft card/paper - easy!
