Simply dotty!

Hello, my lovely blog chums.....hope you've had a really enjoyable Easter weekend.

Very much hope that the weather will improve now after such wet and windiness today. I had to start work at 6am this morning, and it was so bad at times that I actually thought that the wind was going to lift the roof away.

I spotted, recently that there was a sale on at Di's Digi Designs and it seemed just rude not to treat myself to a couple, and today's card features one of my purchases.

The one with the Bunny!

Hello, I'm back again with my second post of the day. Its a proper grey, gloomy day here, which is such a shame as we have had a few glimpses of sunshine this week. Popped out this morning to do the weekly food shop, and have settled in for the day now!

So, as its Easter Saturday, what could be better than an Easter Bunny for today's card, and this one is just soooo cute! My Mum was recently given a pile of  card making stash, which was pretty much unused magazine freebies....which is where this bunny came from, and sadly, that's all I know about it....no idea what its name or brand is. The papers were also from this stash and were in a Hobby House pad together with some gorgeous Wee stamps images. As always, image is coloured with promarkers and have cut out with a fancy circle spellbinder die.  The sentiment is Mathilde' font and is cut with a Memory Box label die. Finished with dovecraft Acrylic dome stickers, which are a favourite emellishment of mine at the mo, as they add a lovely detail but are flat enough for standard postage.

Every loves an Easter Bunny!

Well, well, well.....two posts in one day, get me! 

As many of you know my husband has had all number of health problems, over the last few years, and this has led to him having to take early retirement. Whilst he still has "off days", numerous tablets he takes every day help enormously, and he was getting to the stage of feeling well enough to do something with his time, but he was slowly becoming somewhat depressed about not being able to return to full time work. After my making a few enquiries, we found an opportunity for him to do a bit of voluntary work with our local Age Concern centre, and so far he is really enjoying it.......it would be fair to say that I am enjoying having a little bit of time to myself, a couple of afternoons a week too.

I am sharing an Easter card today, that I've made for my Mum. This gorgeous image was offered as a freebie by the lovely Christine, on the Papernest Dolls facebook page and I have to say, it was an absolute treat to colour! The papers are from a very popular Nitwit set, the sentiment was created by the very talented Netty. Bow and sticky pearls from stash.

The Cuties are soooo Fairy Cute!

Hello there, my dear blog friends......hope you've had a lovely weekend!

We are now in the second week of the Cutie Pie challenge, and our theme this time is

who also provided some amazing images for our DT to play with, I couldn't resist using Fairy Magic! She is such a sweetie, I decided to keep to a very simple design. She is coloured with promarkers and given a splash of Stickles to create a little magic on her wings and bow. The sentiment was created using Rumba Script font, and a cute border die and a couple of sticky gems was added to the Annamarie dotty card to bring it all together.

Hello there and thank you so much for visiting me today......my goodness me, it was a wet and windy morning here in Kent, the weather has settled now but now I'm home from work, I'm in for the day!

I actually made today's card a week or so ago, but as soon as I saw that this weeks, "I love Promarkers" challenge theme is Men at Work, I couldn't wait to upload this......

I just adore this LOTV stamp, but I always worry about him toppling off the edge of those steps!

Spring Mousie!

Hello there, hope all is well with you! Can you believe we are already in March, I have some beautiful primroses in my front garden that are doing really well, its lovely to see these little signs of spring, isn't it.

I think my spring-like mood is reflected in today's card.....

Poor Old Balloon Bear!

Hello there my lovely blog friends, so how's your week going so far? Its another cold day here, but all the more reason to snuggle up inside and play!

My mum turned up at my house recently with a box of notelets card thingy's that she had found in The Works, and as there was such a lovely selection of colours and designs, she thought I might be able to do something with them........the poor love almost had to prize them out of my hands, hehehe!!!
