Christmas with the Cuties, ELVES, GNOMES and FAIRIES

Hello there, lovely blog chums.....I hope you have had some kind of an enjoyable weekend, the weather certainly improved, here in Kent  at least.

After a much needed new year break, CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES is back with a fabulous theme to kick off our run up to the next festive season.......

Obviously CUTE & CHRISTMAS is a must, but we have the option of featuring
ELVES, GNOMES and FAIRIES

We are welcoming a wonderful new sponsor

Who not, only have some amazing digi stamps.....as you can see, but they are also offering a fabulous prize to our lucky winner.

My DT card features
Gnome on the tree topper, you can click on the link to find him. I have used Promarkers to colour, with the addition of a Sakura gelly pen for highlighting. The plaid paper is from a Nitwit download, and is a bit of a favourite of mine, to add a little extra detail to the image panel I raided the off cuts box, and cut two mini tags  and added enamel dots. Own sentiment.

Hearts, Flowers and Cutie Pies

Hello There my lovely blog chums.....I do hope you're having a happy week.

I thank you folks for your lovely comments regarding my hubby, he is continuing to recover well....although his mobility is somewhat limited due to the vacuum pump thingy attached to his wound....in addition to a separate issue with his back, but do you know what....we have a pretty good routine now and things are going well. My Mum came to stay for a few days this week, obviously as we have a support bubble with her it was "allowed " and she was a great help, pitching in with the housework and stuff...super helpful for me and she loves the company. I am a wee bit behind myself now, with posting this card, because of this....but anyway....

We have a fabulous new challenge with

THE CUTIE PIES

Our theme is

❤🌼HEARTS & FLOWERS🌼❤

That is, we'd like to see  your cards, either for Valentines or Mother's Day.

We have a wonderful new sponsor, that we'd like to introduce......

You can visit them here
They also,  very kindly, provided some completely adorable images for the team, I couldn't wait to use this lil' sweetie, that you can  treat yourself to here. I am using Promarkers to colour. The grey gingham paper is a Nitwit download, the other, pretty teal coloured paper is from a My Favourite Things stack. I added a couple of enamel dots from Doodlebug, and a section of lace.

Celebrations with PASSION FOR MARKERS

Hello there my lovely blog chums....I hope that this post finds you keeping well as we plod on through another week of lockdown-ness....it has been a snowy week here in Kent.

To update about my hubby, I am happy to report that he has been home for almost a week now, as he continues to recover from surgery and covid. He isn't well enough to do very much at all for himself, and he is attached to a vacuum pump on his wound which also restricts his movement, so I  certainly have my hands full with looking after him but we are establishing a routine now, after a stressful first few days, we are getting there. I was finding it all somewhat overwhelming, and began to think that "this" is how its going to be forever....I mean, obviously we are in for a demanding time, but he will get better. Then I received a "hug in the post" from my very, lovely friend, Sarah, which cheered me up beyond words, and I've been in a much better frame of mind since.

Anyway , I  have a DT card to share today......

We have a fabulous new challenge, at

PASSION FOR MARKERS

My teaming, Karen, has set the theme of Celebrations 🍾,  so plenty of scope there!

Our sponsors are

Which gave me the opportunity to use a digi that I always enjoy colouring
(using Crafty Sentiments Designs image ‘couples’)
I am using Promarkers to colour.....BUT.....did you know, we have now opened up our challenge to welcome other types of markers, so if you are more into Copics or one of the other fabulous brands, then we'd love you to play along with us too.......

Crafty Friends....Animals!

Good Morning my lovely blog chums....hope you've had some kind of an enjoyable weekend.

I wanted to thank you all for your kind and supportive messages on my previous post....unfortunately my husband is still in hospital....i had been able to go into the ward for a couple of days , to learn how to clean and chance his Stoma bags in preparation for his discharge....but....then he only went and tested positive for covid. I was distraught to hear this, but so far he hasn't been too bad with it and his breathing has been fine, obviously I am hoping and praying that this remains the case....and then we have another but.....his wound swab test came back with a positive case of MRSA, so he has been hooked up to some strong antibiotics all weekend.  He is "getting there", but just going the long way round.

Anyway, anyway, anyway....the cathartic powers of card making have been a massive help to me this last month....and I have a card to share today that I absolutely loved making

We have a wonderful new challenge at
CRAFTY FRIENDS
and our theme is
ANIMALS

is our lovely sponsor, and I am always delighted to have the opportunity to use one if Lee's amazing designs

Prize - One lucky winner will receive 2 digital stamps of their choice
from Sponsors Etsy store.

This Gggrrrrourgeous little Tiger was fabulous to colour, I used Promarkers to do so. The papers were from a bundle that I'd purchased from a Facebook group, I think they are an old set from My Minds Eye. I used a paw print embossing folder, which doesn't get used often enough....so sweet! I added a faux stitched tag, the sentiment uses Happy, Happy Birthday font.....and the "Alex" on the card is my grandson, I made this card for him on behalf of my Mum.
