Bunnies and Blooms at PASSION FOR MARKERS, Part 2

Hello again my lovely blog chums.....hope you've had an enjoyable day.

So I have my second "make" to share with you, for our current challenge at

PASSION FOR MARKERS

and our Bunnies and Blooms theme.....

Just before Christmas, I swapped rooms with Cameron to give him a bigger bedroom and now my craft room is a fair bit smaller and also very grey in decor.....I  can't do much about the size of the room, but some t-slot shelving helps, and I have a pot of  "soft apple green" paint, ready when I eventually get time to  repaint......in the meantime I am loving anything to add a bit of colour, so I made a little wall hanging.
I am using Grown With Love digi from LOTV, such a sweet set but I think each image could shine on their own too. I am using Promarkers to colour with just a little bit of liquid pearls added to the butterfly's to add a little texture. I layered up the image and added punched flowers.

I do hope that you will hop on over and join us.....

Bunnies & Blooms at PASSION FOR MARKERS

Hello there my lovely blog chums, so can you actually believe it has been a whole year since the first lockdown, here in the UK. We observed this day of reflection by observing the minutes silence at midday and I will be lighting my candles out in the porch window tonight.

I am excited to bring this post to you today.....as it my first turn to set the theme for our challenge at

PASSION FOR MARKERS

I decided to plump for

🌸🐰BUNNIES AND/OR BLOOMS 🐰🌸

When I chose the theme I had the digi in mind, that you will see on my DT card. An absolute sweetie from LOTV. I am using Promarkers to colour. I am using a plaid paper from Doodlebug , with the flip side used for the die cut flowers. I am also using a scalloped border die.

SPOTS AND/OR SNOWFLAKES, CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I hope you've been able to have enjoyable weekend.

It was fairly quiet here, after venturing out on Thursday. This was Alistair's first trip out of the house, since coming home from hospital. Ironically it was a trip back there, to take him for an ultrasound but we managed to tie this in with his covid vaccination too.  He has had a mobility scooter for a couple of years now, which certainly made the trip so much easier. He is much brighter in himself now, although he still has along way to go to regain enough strength in his legs to manage without the walking frame.

Anyway, its a busy week on the DT front for me...today we have a great new challenge at

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES

and our theme is

SPOTS AND/OR SNOWFLAKES

As a Westie parent myself, I couldn't resist the opportunity to use this fabulous image from Fred, She Said. I am using the pre-coloured image, but used my Sakura gelly roller pen to add spots to his scarf. The snowflake paper is from a stack that I bought in The Works (gosh, I cannot wait for The Works to reopen, "non-essential retail" i beg to differ!!!), I added a snowflake die cut border and finally the sentiment is from a Penny Black set.

Getting Merry and Inky

Hello my lovely blog chums......Hope all is well with you

During the last few weeks I have rekindled my love of rubber stamping, upon recommendation from my friend, Sarah, I treated myself to a Stamping Platform  which I have found to be a bit of a game changer!!! I can't believe how easy it is to use and how much crisper and less smudgy the results are.....its been lovely to dig out some old favourites.....and I've even treated myself to a  few Penny  Black Hedgies. Whilst I am caring for my hubby I'm not getting an awful lot of crafting time...but....this card practically made itself!

as you can see, I am using a Penny Black hedgie stamp, and the sentiment is also from Penny Black. I am using Promarkers to colour. The tree paper is an old magazine freebie, I added a pennant die cut to give a little extra detail as well as the pretty doily. If you are interested, at all, in trying a platform, this is the one I got

Anyway, I would like to enter these challenges please

Thank you so much for your visit today xx

Soft Finishes with PASSION FOR MARKERS

Hello there my lovely blog chums....it's been a beautiful sunny day,  here in Kent, and definitely feeling very spring-like. It was even nice enough to sit out in the garden with a cuppa, this afternoon. Obviously, Alistair is still pretty much housebound at the moment so he really enjoyed the fresh air....when we came in I decided to treat him to one of my tissue mask....I know, I'm spoiling him today, lol

Anyway, we have a lovely theme for our new challenge with

PASSION FOR MARKERS

 "Soft Finishes"

Our lovely sponsors are

This lil' beaut, from Colour of Love is called  Petals, and in keeping with the theme i used, soft, delicate colours. Just to remind you,  we now allow other brands of Markers, but I am using Promarkers, myself. The flower paper is from My Favourite Things, the yellow paper was a remnant from my scrap box. This pretty ribbon is another soft finish. I added a stamped sentiment onto a die cut tag and used enamel dots as the finishing touch.

Happy Birthday with Crafty Friends

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I do hope that you've been having a good week. So I went off and got my vaccination on Sunday, aside from having a sore arm for a couple of days after, I felt absolutely fine....hugely relieved in fact. Because my hubby is still pretty much housebound at the moment, he has been notified that the community team will be out to do his jab at home, so hopefully that should be fairly soon.

I'm a few days late with this card....I will blame the sore arm on Monday, But for the rest of the week its been my absent mindedness.....

We have a fabulous new challenge with

 THE CRAFTY FRIENDS

Which is.....
Our lovely sponsors are

If you are our lucky winner of this challenge, you will receive the following fabulous prize... 2 digital stamps of your choice from the store.  HERE is the link to Etsy store

They also, very kindly, provided some completely adorable images for the team to work with, you can find this gorgeous cat stamp here. I have used Promarkers to colour, I found this plaid paper in my stash, I think it was a magazine freebie, I  decided to add die cut balloons, just to add a bit of dimension.

Thank you so much for your recent visits and kind words.....I may be a few days late posting this...but...there is still plenty of time to play along,  so hopefully see you over there!
