Ribbons and Rubber Stamps

Hello again, my lovely blog chums, I  hope you're enjoying the weekend.  I have been having a huge problem with my laptop - stupid thing doesn't even want to switch on now, grrrrrr! It had been playing up when I was preparing this post, which hasn't appeared to have actually gone live, so I'm trying again on my tablet.

Anyway,  we have a fabulous theme at

 The Cutie Pie Challenge

We want to see your cutest Creations using

RIBBONS AND RUBBER STAMPS

Our lovely sponsors are
Who have a fabulous prize for our lucky winner

I am using a super cute Penny Black Christmas Hedgie stamp, which I have coloured with Promarkers. My stamping ink, if choice is a Catherine Pooler. The sentiment is from LOTV. I created a border with a fancy die and added gingham ribbon. It feels a little odd putting together a Christmas card at the moment, but apparently my Mother has put my name down for a table at her church Autum fair, so I thought I'd better think festive.

Summer Colours with Crafty Friends

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....hope that this finds you well. Doesn't seem possible that we are now in August, how this year is flying by!

And as its the first of the month, its time for a new challenge with

CRAFTY FRIENDS

our theme for August is

SUMMER COLOURS

I chose this flowery colour scheme as my daughter had recently got a dress for a wedding reception in a very similar print. The papers are from a stack from The Range.  This gorgeous owl is from Pink Gem. I added a sentiment tag, a wooden flower embellishment and a couple of enamel dots. After much pestering from my kids I have recently taken the plunge to use Tiktok, and I have seen a couple of videos on there featuring cards with a folded over corner,  so I thought I'd have a bash at it too.

Anyway,  I do hope that you will hop on over and play along,  we have some fabulous inspiration from the team to share too xx

For my own DT card I am using Crafty Sentiments image ‘friendship. I used Promarkers to colour. I love to use a die with faux stitching, and I cut out the image, and created a side panel, using these. The pretty paper is from a pad from The Works, i like the softness of the pink. The sentiment is a LOTV digi. I used a couple of buttons and some gingham ribbon to embellish.

I hope that that you will hop on over and play along.

Little Cuties!

Hello there my lovely blog chums......I do hope that you are keeping well.

So work and family life has occupied an awful lot of my time recently and I have struggled a bit to keep on top of making my cards AND blogging about them. Subsequently I am super late with my DT card for the current CUTIE PIE CHALLENGE . However, we are having a quiet weekend away in our little caravan and I have a wee bit of time to hand now.......

So anyway, our July challenge has the theme of

LITTLE CUTIES

we want to see cards for children featuring oodles of Cuteness

Our lovely sponsors are

I am using a proper little sweetie called New Baby, which you can find here. I have used Promarkers to colour. Both the gingham paper and the pink polkadot paper are from Limetree Crafts. I have added some little die cut hearts, a sentiment tag and some lace.

If you haven't already joined in with us,  don't worry, there's still time.....I do hope that you will hop on over.

Have yourself a Merry LITTLE Christmas

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....hope this you well. So I am a day or so late in posting this as it really has been an eventful few days! At the weekend I celebrated my 50th birthday, Saturday, had been a fairly quiet day, my daughter and her boyfriend came to visit in the morning and then my Mother came over later in the afternoon and then the three of us just went out for dinner in the evening. On Sunday morning I was wanting to get on and pack for our holiday,  the next day, but hubby was most insistent that we go out to get dog food, then stop off for a Costa - when we did eventually get home I was met with balloons, banners and confetti canons, and all of the family! We shared a fabulous afternoon together with a lovely bbq, a dip in the hot tub, great music to sing a long and dance too, even a water pistol battle which my 3 yr old grandsons found to be an absolute hoot!!!

So now hubby and I are away on a "coast & country" holiday. We are staying in the New Forest, and have some beautiful, scenic and woodland areas around us to walk with the dogs but within a short distance to the East Dorset/Hampshire coast, so that I can get my fix of sea air too.

Anyway, my birthday always serves as a reminder that it is six months to go till Christmas, so a very apt time for our next Christmas with the Cuties challenge

Our optional theme this time is

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

We would like you to make a Christmas card for a child

For my own DT card I am using Chilly the Snowman, with stop here sign from Pink Gem. The background paper is an old magazine freebie.i used a scalloped edged border die to frame the image. The sentiment is from a LOTV set.

It's such an easy theme, and now we are half way through the year, why not get crafting and join in with us....here

Add A Tag, with THE CUTIE PIES

Hello there my lovely blog chums......so, I hope that this finds you well. My dogs are off to the groomer this morning for a much needed tidy up, which I'm sure they will feel glad of as the weather seems to be getting warmer this week.

Anyway,  its time for a new challenge with

  THE CUTIE PIES

our theme is

ADD A TAG

We are lucky enough to be sponsored by

and there will be a fabulous digi stamp prize for our lucky winner.

For my own DT card I am using Birthday Teddy,  from Lee's fabulous store.....thus was an absolute treat to colour, and as I'd printed off a few copies, I think it's going to be ons of those digi's that I'll use time after time. I am using Promarkers to colour. The polka dot paper is from a Doodlebug pad, and the stripey paper is my own creation. Now normally,  if I were to add a tag to a card, it would normally be for a sentiment..but..I decided to go in a different direction and instead used my tag for an embellishment, this cute little wooden candle. My mum had brought my several packs of wooden embellishments from The Works, for Christmas which I'd emptied into a tin and each time I root through the tin I find something different!

So we have a nice, easy theme and a fabulous prize on offer so I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us.
