another day, another doily!

Hi to you all! So its monday again, and I have booked today off work to go do some Christmas shopping....yay! Its mostly stocking fillers on the list today, as the hubby and I were super organised and sat down at the computor last Thursday and ordered most of the pressies on-line - easiest Christmas shopping trip ever!!!
Anyway, my card today is a Mid Challenge DT card for our "Use a doily" challenge with THE CUTIE PIES. We still have a week to go with this one, so plenty of time for you all to join in!
I have once again used an image from our sponsor Pink Gem, which is coloured with promarkers, and have used go kreate dies to cut and layer. The doily is from Pretty Little Ribbon shop, the papers are from Helz Cuppleditch "special delivery" which i've used lots this year. The sentiment is a freebie from the wonderful Bizzy Becs I have steered away from adding buttons, or pearls or whatever, to try and keep my postage costs down a little. Having family and friends in various parts of the country can get kinda expensive this time of year!

Well, have a good day, whatever your up to!

I would also like to enter this card into these challenges:

The One where the Cutie Pies got busy with Doily's

Hello all! Hope you've all had a smashing weekend and that inspite of the horrid weather we've been seeing, you're all keeping safe, warm and dry! It was abusy weekend for me, with my craft fair on Saturday - which didnt go too badly. Didnt sell a lot of cards but my other goodies like Reindeer food and pet treats went really well.

So, as its Monday, its time for another Cutie Pie challenge! We've got a lovely one for you all this time, as our theme is "Use a Doily"

We are sponsored by the wonderful Pink Gem who are offering three digi's to our winner, and also gave us lucky DT girls some adorable images to play with.......so here is my DT card

Have used a precoloured image called Faye with flowers, and have popped her onto a go kreate cut circle and a scalloped circle before placing her onto her doily, which incidently, came from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. The paper is  "back to basics" from dovecraft. Ribbon, button, twine and pearls from stash. The "sweet" wording is a small section of a cuttlebug embossing folder.

We would love to see you joining us for this challenge - if you're busy with your Christmas cards, then this is a perfect challenge too!

I would also like to enter this card into: cute card thursday - girls only

the one with the sheep and the wellies

Hope you're all having a lovely week!

So we're midway through the latest Aud Sentiments Challenge and that means its time for the Team B cards......and here is mine! The theme for this challenge is
"Use the word - Thank(s)"
For my DT card I have used a bit of an old favorite of mine.....this adorable image is from the "Just for ewe" set from Pink Petticoat, which I think I bought about three years ago, but its those wellies that keep bringing me back to using it!!! Have used the trusty promarkers to colour, and have used a lacy circles nestie. The papers are from Lucy Cromwell papermania set (pink polka dots) and the other is a download from Sweet  Shoppe designs. The sentiment is my own creation using Tempus Sans font and a Nellie Snellen die. Ribbon and buttons are from stash.

The Cutie Pie one that was brown, cream and Christmassy!

Hi all! Hope you've all had a smashing weekend. It was another busy one for me.....I have just about finished decorating my lounge! It has actually taken me since about April, but to be fair we did have to carry out fairly extensive work to our chimney breast, and there have been factors like work and holidays as well, but its nice now to have it done (will upload photos at some point) and so its on to the next room (I have paint in my shed for every room in the house!!!)

Anyway, onto todays card, and as it is Monday its challenge day with The Cutie Pies and this time our theme is
Brown & Cream Christmas

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are

the storytime one!

Hi all! Back to work for me today, sadly! It was hard work this morning getting the jammies off and putting the uniform back on, lol!

Anyway, its challenge time with aud sentiments and what we'd like you to do this time is use a STORY BOOK QUOTE as your sentiment on your card or project. We are sponsored this time my Sassy Studios, so thank you to them!

As you can see, for my DT card I went for the master of profound quotes himself, Winnie the Pooh! I think this is a wonderful sentiment!
I created this sentiment using arial font, plus another whose name escapes me at the mo!
The papers are "back to basics" from Dovecraft
Again, I've used the Fremont Crest from Memory box, with a button from stash!

Mini notebooks: these were 18p from Wilkos, going to do a few more, and try and find similar of different sizes.

Pringle tin Santa pot: probably going to put candy canes and/or festive pencils in this - was quite pleased with the way this turned out, so will probably do a couple more.......this will involve more eating of the pringles though!!!!

I thought this Gorjuss Girl image summed up the occasion perfectly (and I think she sums up me as a crafter as she has cheerfully left paper all over the floor, that she'll no doubt get round to hoovering up eventually, lol) The papers and the bunting are from Dovecrafts Tea Party range, doily from Pretty Little Ribbon shop, gems and twine from stash and again the sentiment tickets are my own creations.

The one that was made specially for a crafty buddy!

Hi all, hope you're all having a good day. If im honest today has been a bit pants! Cameron is off on a school geography trip to Chedder Gorge, I had to take him to school at 6.15am and it was cold, wet and miserable! When I got to work and found out that our company auditor was in do to his 6mnthly audit, it was clear that the day wasnt gonna get any better. I was hoping to get away half an hour earlier to make up for some overtime I did earlier in the week, but thanks to some "missing" invoices I ended up leaving an hour later.  Left work with a thumping head, so took Nippy for a run in the park for some fresh air, only to get caught in the rain again!!! Apologies for my moaning, I know, I know worse things happen at sea (as my granny used to say)
So, onto todays card and this is a birthday card I've made for a lovely Docraft and blog friend Carol, who as you can see is celebrating a bit of a spesh birthday.
This super cute H&S image is coloured with the pro's, I think the papers are from The Paper Cellar, the Ivy die is from Poppy Stamps, doily from Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, the pearls and the ribbon slider are from Meiflower (at bluewater show) and the sentiment tickets are my own work. The one with the mouse and the treat box!

So, every now and then I get overcome with an "anything but a card" urge...and then I stumbled across this on Tracey's amazing blog and couldnt resist having a go. This it the "toot" that I followed click here, and considering I am not great at following measurements and stuff, I was amazed at how easy it was to do, mine might not be a patch on Tracey's but not bad for a first attempt!

I even going to be very brave and enter it into these challenges:
anything goes - animals
the stamping boutique - pink, pink, pink
cupcake craft - pink
dis digi designs - animals acting like people  dont think  mice usually wear jumpers!

Oh just to add - the image is from Di's Digi Designs, flowers are a joycraft die, paper, candy and doily from stash.

Good Morning all, hope you're all having a great weekend Not a lot of crafting from me for the last few days, as I am on a course of anti-b's for a chest infection and they have pretty much floored me.......what with that and now the loss of Rory and Amy (nod to  the Dr Who fans!) to cope with, I'm a bit ropey at the moment!!!
Anyway, what I do have today is a card I made last weekend:

This adorable wee beary is a donated image (dont know where he is from, if anyone recognizes him, please shout!!) he is coloured with the promarkers of course, the papers are from my shiny new Helz Cuppleditch "special delivery" stack, snowflakes are a Marianne die and Xcut punch, pearls, ribbon and bow from stash.
