Hello there, hope you're having a good week, hasn't the weather been a lovely treat over the last few days, so nice to enjoy a little autumn sunshine!
A couple of weeks ago, I spotted some very reasonably priced pillar candles, and it occurred to me that I've not indulged in any candle decorating for absolutely ages, so I purchased said candles and went home to dig out the heat gun.
If you've not had a go at this before, I highly recommend you try.......so basically we have an image stamped onto tissue paper, which I've coloured with promarkers (best to stick with quite bold shades, I find), the images is cut out and placed onto candle. You will need baking paper wrapped around the candle and image and then warm up your heat gun and watch the image "melt" into the candle - a little bit of magic, methinks - there is a much more informative tutorial here. In case you were wondering, this super cute bear is James from LOTV.Hope you likey......I am planning on making more Christmassy themed ones, so watch this space and let me know if you have a go!
