The one with the twinkly tree

Hello there my lovely blog chums......hope you're having a great week, so far. Our children are heading back to school this week, and that certainly applies to my lovely daughter, as today is her first day as a newly qualified teacher. I think, under any circumstances, this would be an apprehensive time but in the current climate there are lots of additional challenges.....we have had to reassure her that she can, absolutely do this!!!!

So I have another Christmas card to share today.....a little reminder about the current Christmas with the Cuties Challenge, where our theme is
BRING ON THE BLING

this little chap is doing a cracking job of dressing the tree, so I also had the Fezziwigs Festive Frolics "Santa's Little Helper" challenge in mind.
This is another adorable digi from LOTV, as is the sentiment.  I have used Promarkers to colour, with the sparkly addition of some stickles glitter glue to add my bling. The dp was a magazine freebie.

I would like to enter these challenges please

  2. Ah this is so sweet, what a cute card, I love that wee boy, hes a real wee sweetie. I hope your daughter gets on ok with being back to school. Its a worrying time starting your first job anyway but with the added stress of covid it must be really hard. Thanks for sharing with me over on Fezziwigs, Hazel xx

  3. A super card Lisa, a fun image and great design.
I'm sure your daughter will be fine as soon as she gets into the swing of things. My son just started his third year of teaching, he's in a new school this year and he said the children are struggling a bit after being at home for six months, they get very tired in the afternoon.
