this is what happens when there'd no d/c to do...

made this card this afternoon as a bit of a h****work dodge! I think i've just uploaded it onto d/c, but cant be sure. Still no craft talk, had a look at the gallery not overtly keen, but will give it time! Right, im off to make a cuppa.

Hiya, I am about to pop my blog challenge cherry! This is my first ever blog challenge card and it is for the allsorts challenge - the theme is no designer papers - yikes, this is a challenge for me 'cos i loves me papers. Gone for what i think is the next best thing and got embossing!

Happy Easter one and all! Have realised i've not posted on here for a wee while! Do pop on most days for a catch up. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend and not scoffing too much chocolate!

Good Morning all, hope everyone is well! Have had family from Scotland staying for a few days, so i've not had too much time for crafting or blogging, just popped on now before work.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you all about taking part in blog challenges - how to go about doing it, and, as a blog challenge newbie, what challenges to look at??

I love taking part in the Docraft challenges, 'cos they can be fab to get the mojo flowing, but thought i might like to have a look at the challenges in this neck of the woods........

from the weekend

here's a couple of cards from the weekend, firstly a card i've made using the gorgeous digi freebie from Digistamp boutique, next up is a bit special as it is officially the 500th card i've uploaded to my docrafts gallery, and to celebrate I am doing a freebie draw, so please feel free to hop over a join in! retirement card

Have made this card today, for a lovely lady at work who is retiring tomorrow. Have used some of my new colorcard cardstock, which has a whitewash finish, embossed it first then sanded it to bring out the colour, had to "borrow" one of the sand paper sheets from hubbys black & decker mouse thingy - hope he doesnt notice, lol!

this afternoon....

had planned to make my brothers birthday card, but got a little distracted by the sheer yumminess of my new goodies!

I've made the first card using some of my goodies from the digi stamp blog candy, including this gorgeous bunny who is a treat to colour!, also the lovely wild rose studio backing papers. This is my mothers day card for my mum

The second is using the gorgeous freebie digi stamp from Pink Gem, this is the mothers day card for my mum from my kids.
