Today was the first time in over three years that i've not had to work on a bank holiday, so even though the weather wasnt great I was determined to have a run out somewhere. I took the kids and the dog to Shorne Wood Country Park, and we had a really good time!
There are various walks around the wood, for different abilities, feeling energetic we went for the red walk which is over 3km!

Hi bloggyfolk, hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend. As the weather was so rubbish yesterday, i decided to hibernate in the conservy and make a few cards. A lot of the cards i make are sold by my fab mum, at the church that she attends. We donate most of the proceeds to a charity that they support called Blythswood care, and the remainder goes into our stash kitty. Did a bit of stash shopping yesterday at the Papermill Store and the Range at Dockside, i'd only actually gone to get card stock, but somehow came home with some sticky pearls, a henbury lane petal pouch (at 89p it seemed rude not to, lol) and also the Daisy and Dandelion picnic patch papers. The cards below are for our charity box, the first three feature digi freebie stamps that i have discovered whilst nosing around since i started blogging.
this card features a fab stamped image that was very kindly donated by a lovely d/c member, am saving this card for a special friend of mine.
As the kids are on half term so have decided to take a few days off work with them, so hoping the weather cheers up a bit. If we get chance i'd love the have a day at the coast, need to fill my lungs with some sea air! Will keep you posted!

What a lovely weekend its been, the weather has been just gorgeous, spent most of yesterday pottering about in my garden and then we took the kids and nippy to a local country park, today did a few bits and bobs and had a lovely bbq dinner ( we have had this bbq in its box in our shed for over two years, so it was fab to get it out and take it for a spin! )
Sat out in my conservy late last night, just chilling out and fiddling with the bits and this card was the result......
ho hum, back to work tomorrow, have a good week all. xx

Is the theme for the Digi Challenge I am hosting for the next two weeks over on Docrafts, and this is my card for the challenge.
Have had this sentiment stored on pc for ages, used Zipity and Scriptina fonts. backing paper is a freebie download from Zoe Pearn.
It is a no winner, just for fun kind of challenge, but everyone is very welcome, here is the link:-

Have just found out that i am the winner of a draw from the http://scrappyfairy.blogspot.com/ to have a "Little Musings" character created to my choice. Have emailed Sarahjayne as fast as my little fingers could type and will keep you all informed on that one!
Coincidently i was going to upload a card this morning featuring one of their wonderful creations, who is a little fella called Sam, who as soon as i saw him reminded me on my own son Cameron - the highly trained and world class standard muck magnet. We have a saying about Cam that he gets up in the morning and "stuff just seems to happen" to him, so thought that would be an apt text for this card!

made this card for my Friendship card swap partner over on docraft. This is one of my fave digi stamps and it is from http://www.digistampboutique.co.uk and is coloured with promarkers. The circular greeting is my own creation and im quite chuffed with the way it came out
Cant believe how cold, wet and miserable it is outside today. Caught up with the h*******k this morning, and so far have had a fairly leisurely afternoon, have made two cards, and given myself a bit of a blog makeover, have dabbled with backgrounds a few times, but this is a bit more drastic, i like it, hope you all do too. xx
