Sunny Saturday Greetings!

Hello there, thank you for visiting....hope your having a lovely weekend!
I am currently half way through my two weeks summer holiday from work......most of the last week has been spent out in our back garden - sadly not enjoying the sun - but in our continuing overhaul project. This week has seen us rotavating, raking, sieving and all other number of tasks that make me feel achy and grubby come the end of the day! Yesterday was especially warm, so we decided to give ourselves the day off today and this morning was spent with a bit of retail therapy and general mooching around Bluewater shopping centre ( I got the most gorgeous Tinkerbell costume for our Grand-daughter Erin in The Disney Store, £25 reduced to £6.19!!!!) This afternoon I managed to finish this card that I've fiddled about with for days!
This card features:
  • LOTV stamp
  • coloured with promarkers
  • Nitwit papers
  • wooden heart and tag from stash
  • papermania dome stickers
  • sentiment created by the talented Kerry (Pickle)
I would like to enter this into:
passion for promarkers challenge - summer lovin'
i love promarkers - in the garden (hope this is garden-y enough)
robyns fetish challenge blog - use kraft card stock

off to visit my Mother for dinner soon, so will catch you all later xx

I have the rest of this week at work then I have two weeks off from work (woohoo!), if we don't go away during August (and we're not this year) then I try to get a good jump on my Christmas friends at work always find this a little odd, but to me (and I'm sure you folks too) it makes perfect sense in this as time seems to fly by once you get into the Autumn months!
Went CaS for todays card! For someone who really isn't good with Mices, I do use this Christmas image a lot, lol!
My card features:
  • Mousie image from Sylvia Zet

Cameron got to try these bikes, and has a new found respect for the athletes that would use these as they are quite a weight to operate!

Boys and their Toys!

Hope you've had a good day today, even though the weather has been bleh!!!
I had an absolutely wonderful day out with my kids today, we took the train to visit the Olympic park in East London. The Anniversary games have been going on this weekend and today was Paralympic day. The weather was lousy, first thing, but a little drier come the afternoon, so we walked for hours around the park visiting the various event venues.....oh my giddy aunt, my little legs ache now!!! I will share some of my photos from today in my next post.
Back to my card for now though, and I noticed that the theme this week at Sweet Stampin is Boys and their Toys, which gave me the perfect excuse to dust of this little beaut!
My card features:
  • Hanglar & Stanglar image coloured with Promakers
  • paper from Bo BUnny
  • dome stickers from papermania
  • apologies, can't remember where this sentiment came from
I would like to enter this into:
Off to bed now, for a much needed sleep....catch up with you all tomorrow, night-night xx
