Going Green for Christmas with the Cuties

Good morning my lovely blog chums....hope this post finds you fine and well! Once again my problem with "not having enough hours in the day", has caught up with me and I am super late with this DT card. We have recently had family down from Scotland, my step daughter and her two children.....I had forgotten how hard work a 4 year old and a 15 month year old can be, lol! We had some wonderful days out together...I will try to share some photos here....but one of the most fun things we did was a visit to an indoor trampoline the yells of, "come on Nanny Lisa, come on and play', I very gingerly stepped in to a trampoline - found myself to be still alive after a couple of gentle bounces and about half an hour later I was galloping around the place like a mad woman!!!! I absolutely loved it, and judging by the aches I felt for the next few days, it was great exercise too, so when the schools go back in September, I will be making enquiries about sessions there for overweight and old enough to know better types like me.

Anyway, more importantly, I do have to tell you about our current challenge at

Our theme is
a nice, easy theme, this time.......we want to see your Cute, Cute, Cute  Christmas images......featuring the very traditional Christmas colour of GREEN

We have lovely New sponsors, who are joining us for the very first time, so we say a huge
welcome and thank you to

who you can visit here

or via Facebook

they will be offering 3 yummy digi stamps as a prize to our lucky winner

They also very kindly provided some gorgeous images for the team to play with, and I couldn't resist this gorgeous reindeer. He is coloured with ProMarkers, the sentiment was my own creation, the enamel dots are from YNS, and the yummy paper is from Digi Rainbow on Etsy.

you still have a week to play along....I hope you will do so, ALSO, we have a DT call running, so if you are a fan of cuteness and want to make more Christmas cards, come and have a look.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Good morning to you my lovely blog chums!

It's been a couple of weeks now, since my last post here - and what a couple of weeks we've had!!! So long story, short....we have a new member of family: a West Highland Terrier puppy, that we have named Harvey. If you've ever had puppy you will now how chaotic that can be, but we found ourselves with a poorly little boy.....he wasn't eating at all and several trips to the vet, and something unmentionable being vomitted up confirmed that the poor wee  chap had been suffering with round worms....he is now on medication, is recovering well and has definitely found his appetite!!! Our older Westie, is still not entirely happy about  the new arrival, but it's very early days yet. Will add a photo at the end this post, but for now I must get back to why I am actually here, lol

So we have a fabby challenge over with the Cutie Pies and our theme is

our lovely sponsors for this challenge are

who you can visit here

or via Facebook

They also very kindly provided some gorgeous images for the team to play with.......I have used a Little Miss  Sugarpops digi that you can find here. I have used ProMarkers to colour, and image was cut out on a Spellbinders fancy oval die. The birthday gift die is from X cut. The paper is from a Trimcraft stack, enamel dots from YNS, and finally the pearl heart ribbon slider was an eBay purchase....I have been using these on Wedding Invitations, and had some spares.

Rainy day craft sesh

Hello my lovely blog's been ages since I posted more than one card in a week, but here I am again!

Despite my shoulder still feeling a bit ropey, I was going to cut my grass this afternoon.....however, a very heavy downpour put pay to that...and actually feeling quite relieved, I made myself and cuppa and made a DT card instead.

I am out of ink in my printer at the moment, so had a flick through my box of odds and ends and found this.....can't remember where this image came from, but thought it would make a handy addition to my card stash...
Image coloured with ProMarkers, gingham paper from scraps box, have used Mama Elephant star border die, X cut star dies, sentiment features Baby Lexi font.
