Hello my lovely blog friends, hope your weekend has got off to a good start...have had a lovely peaceful afternoon with hubby out, Megan at work and Cameron upstairs killing aliens on his X-box and this gave me the perfect opportunity to finish my Mother's Day cards. Mac!

Hello there, hope you are having a great week so far, and are keeping warm and cosy. It isn't very often that I find myself with time on my hands at this point of the day....but with hubby out,  daughter still at an event at school and with my boy at his friends for tea, that is just the case, so I decided to do a little blogging and share a card that I've just got finished.

More often than not I colour an image first then find complementary papers, however this time I went the other way around....I was given a paper stack which was a previous Raspberry Road magazine freebie, loved the look of the red and the duck egg together and went from there really.

today's card features:
  • Mac from Digistamp boutique
  • coloured with promarkers
  •  Raspberry Road magazine freebie papers
  • flower die was another magazine freebie
  • sentiment from Ladybug crafts, woodware corner punch used
  • dovecraft acrylic dome stickers
I would like to enter this into:
the pencil cases - more than one (two papers and two acrylic dome stickers

before I finish now, I have just created a second Facebook account that I am using to socialize and share with my lovely friends from the crafting community - if any of you are also facebookers and would like to join me, you can find me here :https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011424098465

On a Chilly Friday Morning!

Good Morning and thank you so much for your visit today......hope this finds you well, before I went off to bed last night I found myself with that horrible scratchy feeling at the back of my throat so I am dosing myself and hoping that it doesn't turn into another cold.

We arrived back home on Wednesday after a smashing little break in Scotland, visiting family.....in particular our extremely gorgeous Grand-daughter Erin, I will share some photos on my next post. This was the first time in 18 years that hubby and I had been away on our own having left our two here, but they were fine and the house is still standing, lol

Today's card continues my mission to blog at least once a week, and this mission couldn't go a lot further without a glimpse of the lovely James - he really is a favourite of mine. This year I am also dabbling with colour combo's.....I thought the peachy and minty tones worked really well together and felt almost springlike, even on a chilly morning.

this card features:
  • James with flower, from LOTV
  • coloured with promarkers
  • papers from a couple of different stacks purchased in The Works
  • Woodware envelope punch
  • buttons and ribbon from stash

I would like to enter this into:
i love promarkers - bingo (ribbon, sentiment, flower)
aud sentiments - cute and sentiment

All you need is love, cutie-ness and minty choccies

Hello my lovely blog friends, hope you had a great weekend.
Its a scheduled post for me today, as when this goes live, I will be in Scotland with my husband visiting his daughter, her partner and our gorgeous grand-daughter, and getting in lots of cuddles!

Its time for this months Cutie Inspiration post at The Cutie Pie challenge and our theme for this month is
All You Need is Love

Our challenge is sponsored by the wonderful
http://disdigidownloads.blogspot.co.uk/
and one lucky winner will win digi's of their choice from this wonderful selection
we also very excited to welcome

who are sponsoring us for the very first time, and offering a prize of $15 for the online store, so thank you so much!

My hubby and I are not really big on Valentines, but I did decide to make him a little gift bag and stuff it with his favourite chocs.....I thought it would be fun, and a little quirky to go for a colour scheme to match the sweeties rather than use more conventional valentine colours!

You can click on the link at the top of the post to join in with us and also check out the other amazing makes from our Cutie team.

Sweet Fairy Wishes!

Hello there my dear blog friends, hope the week, and indeed the month, has started well for you.

So far my plan to blog more this year, has got off to a good start, so the next plan is to try and revisit stamps and digi's that haven't seen the light of day for a wee while - and today's card does exactly that. I found this super cute little fairy stamp in a £1 bargin bin at a craft show last spring but I am almost ashamed to say, that this is her first outing!

today's card features
  • image coloured with promarkers
  • dotty paper from a stack from The Range
  • sentiment created by the very talented Kerry (Pickle)
  • mounted onto spellbinders lacy circle die
  • Bow die is the top half of spellbinders precious mittens
  • gems from stash
  • stickles crystal glue

Thanks again for your visit today, I'm off to stick the kettle on and crack on with making a batch of cupcakes - I am celebrating 10 years in my job this week, and thought I'd take some cakes in to mark the occasion. xx
