The one with the tiny robin

Good Morning all, hope you're all having a great weekend Not a lot of crafting from me for the last few days, as I am on a course of anti-b's for a chest infection and they have pretty much floored me.......what with that and now the loss of Rory and Amy (nod to  the Dr Who fans!) to cope with, I'm a bit ropey at the moment!!!
Anyway, what I do have today is a card I made last weekend:

This adorable wee beary is a donated image (dont know where he is from, if anyone recognizes him, please shout!!) he is coloured with the promarkers of course, the papers are from my shiny new Helz Cuppleditch "special delivery" stack, snowflakes are a Marianne die and Xcut punch, pearls, ribbon and bow from stash.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
christmas stampin - photo inspiration
christmas cards all year round - Christmas Presents
ladybug - anything goes

thats all from me for now, have a good day xx

the one with the lacy circle....

Hi all, hope you've all had a good weekend.......oh my goodness was the weather rough when I left for work this morning, could've had an extra 20 mins in bed instead of doing my hair, lol!!

Anyway, we are midway through our SHAPED CARDS challenge with THE CUTIE PIES, and this challenge seemed the perfect opportunity for me to play with my new lacy circle nesties....so I only went and made a midchallenge DT card, hope you like it....

Have used another Heather Ellis image here, coloured hee with promarkers, and mounted onto a doily then the lacy circle, added some gems and a sentiment.

There is still a week left to join in with this challenge, as always we love to see your cards!

I would also like to enter this into

The one with the sparkly wings!

Hi all! Hope you're having a lovely weekend....it has turned a bit chillier hasnt it. The hubby is working today, Cameron is out playing football, Megan has GCSE revison stuff to do, so after cleaning out my cupboad under the stairs, and doing a few other bits and bobs, I've been enjoying a bit of "me" time....and this is the result

This image is from Wee Stamps, and she is called Spring Bringer....which I know it a bit odd for September, but I kinda like her. She is coloured with the faithfull promarkers and has some stickles on her wings to make them super sparkly. The paper is an old from stash, the Ivy die is from Poppy Stamps, and have added tiny flowers which are a woodware punch and pearls. The butterfly charm came from Hobbycraft.

I would like to enter this into:
Pink Gem - Lemon, Lilac, two butterflies and a bow (all present and correct)
Sweet stampin - How charming
allsorts challenge - inspired by a song (Scott Mckenzie, San Fransisco - be sure to wear flowers in your hair)
polka doodle - inspired by a song as above
charisma cardz - things with wings
crafting for all seasons things with wings
digita ltuesday - things with wings

thats almost all from me, but did just want to mention, you may or may not have noticed that I have changed my little profile photo here, I went off and had my hair cut last week, after dithering about it for ages, and ended up with over 8inches in length being whipped off (no wonder I am feeling chilly, lol) I was really pleased with it, but decided that it needed some colour, so I became a fiery redhead last weekend, very drastic, but I love it!!!

the one that me chuckle....

Hi all!! Hope you are all in fine fettle, I am one weary little crafter this week as I agreed to do some overtime at work.....its amazing what difference a couple of extra hours can make, at the moment I usually to 25hrs per week, but if I do ever go back to work fulltime i'm stuffed, lol!!!

Anyway, its week B of the "Use a Funny Sentiment" challenge at Aud Sentiments, we have had some crackers so far but there is still plenty of time, so do join in. As it is week B you can also check out both teams DT cards....and here is mine:

I just love this Bugaboo image and sentiment. I have made this card to give to the hubby, not that this image is anything like the two of us....oh no, the female has a lot more of the duvet than I ever end up with, lol!!!!
Anyway, thats all from me for now, have a lovely evening xx

Our theme this time is SHAPED CARDS, and to be honest this isnt something I tend to do (hence the blog title), but I thought i'd better "man up" and give it a go and I went for a stepper card - this is only the second one i've ever attempted, so I am a little bit pleased with myself - hope you like it!
This adorable image is from Heather Ellis who together with sweet stamps are our lovely sponsors this time. She is coloured with promarkers, paper from a stack from The Works, the brads and flowers are from a Papermania capsule collection and the ribbon is from my local fabric store. Hi all! Its been a really busy week with work and stuff, and I havent had a lot of time to craft, so I decided when I came home yesterday, to ditch to h****work and do something a lot more fun........and this is the result

She is on a Nellie Snellen die, the papers are from my stash (cant remember their origins), ribbon also from stash, the flowers are a Joy Craft die, and the Ivy is a Poppy Stamps die, the pearls were bought on the Meiflower stand at Bluewater last week, and finally the sentiment is one of my own creations.

the one with more kittens and a bit of stash shopping.....

Some of you will remember me telling you about the  cat and her adorable kittens that we found at work this week, so just a little update.......

Got to work the next day and we found "mummy" very happily feeding her babies and she pretty much stayed in the crate with them for the entire day.  The store next door to us is "pets at home" and the vet that is based there, came and had a look at the cats and scanned her, but couldnt find any trace of her being chipped, so for the time being and in the interests of safety on of the girls from the pet store has taken them all to her house to look after them all until such times as the kittens can be rehomed, and unless anyone elso comes forward to claim her, she is also hoping to keep "mummy". As cute as they are, im not too sure how Nippy would be with a kitten, as he is very much a mum's boy, so I have decided to stop pecking the old man's ear about them!

I still think they are adorable though!!!!

Anyway, no cards today as I have been out spending a bit of money at the Hobbycraft/Creative stitches show at Bluewater. It isnt the biggest venue, but I dont mind that so much, and I managed to get things that I'd planned on getting........plus a few other bits!

bargin of the day 3 packs of promarkers for £11 - these are my mums, but im sure I will be borrowing them!

coloured card stock, some white scalloped edge card, charms and ribbon sliders
Helz Cuppleditch christmas paper, dst and some yummy ribbons

gorgeous sticky pearls, Marianne snowflakes and Poppy stamps, Ivy

So, all in all really good day, if any of you are going there over the weekend , have a great time xx

the one with the donkey

Hiya, hope you've all had a good day!

So we are now into our second week of our "Christmas is Coming" challenge at Aud Sentiments, which means its time for the Team B DT cards and here is mine

This image is from our sponsor this time

Image, colured with promarkers, paper from stash, printed own sentiment and added pearls. I picked this image, because as much as I love cute wee snowmen and Tilda's with candy canes, I think it is also really important to remember what we are actually celebrating. Hope you like it.

The one that had lots of babies in it

Hiya all! Hope you've all had a good day, its been an eventful one here, but more of that in a mo.....

First todays card, I recently came across this these wonderful digi's from dearie dolls digis, and just had to print a batch off and get colouring! How cute is this baby, I've cleaned up enough spillages like this at one time or another. She is coloured with promarkers, the white paper is from Lucy Cromwell and the pink from Fizzy Moon, doily from pretty little ribbon shop, "baby" wording is a cuttlebug die, flowers are a joycraft die, buttons, twine, ribbon and bling from stash.

I would like to enter this into these challenges:
Joanna Sheen - going dotty
creatalicious challenges - baby theme
cupcake craftroom - pretty pastels
digihaven - anything goes
Natalie and Amy - anything goes
my mums craft shop - anything goes

anyway, this baby isnt the only one to feature in todays post - look what we came found at work today......

Every now and then we find stray cats mooching around the warehouse behind our store and apparently a stray black cat had been hanging around, and it looks like she may have been looking for somewhere safe to deliver her litter!!! We found 4 kittens snuggled up on top of a pallet of bags of multi purpose compost. We have been in touch with the RSPCA, who have been advising us in the best thing to do for them, as we have lots of lorries and vans around that area during the day we we told to try and keep them in something safe

We are guessing that they are about 2-3 days old, arent they sweet! My hubby has already said absolutely NO WAY to any suggestion of us having one, will keep you posted on what happens to them.

and thats all from me for now xx
