Gotta love a pair of denim dungarees!

Hi all....its me again! Its the fourth post of the week, so you can really tell that I'm off work, lol! More decorating has been going on today too, and my stairs and hallway are no longer an unpleasant shade of yellow but now "Cosy" by Sanctuary which is a nice light, airy neutral shade.........and as well as my DIY tales I also have another card to share with you.

Fell in love with this little fella straight away, its his cheeky face and the dungarees. I have used the trusty promarkers to colour in. The papers are from Bo Bunny and Best Creation inc. all layered onto Kraft. The buttons were part of candy win from my lovely friend Sue, and the twine is from Homebase. The sentiment is my own work.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
here come the boys - buttons
simon says stamp - anything goes
cupcake craft - boys
qkr stampede - one for the boys

heading off  to bed very shortly, so thanks for popping by and i'll catch up with you all tomorrow xx

"Sew Special"....did you see what I did there!

Hello to you all, so how was your day? All good here as I'm having a few days off work this week for "Mummy-time"......however as the boy has spent every daylight hour since Saturday on the local football field and my wee girly is busy revising for the GCSE  exams she is taking next week, I have had just myself to entertain! The hubby and I are doing a bit of redecorating on our stairs and hallway, but he has been busy with other things too - so more craft time for me!!!

So for todays card its a very sweet Tilda image which is coloured with the promarkers. The papers are from Graphic 45 and Lucy Cromwell. The border bunch is from Martha Stewart. The pearls are from Meiflower, the ribbon from my local haberdashery and the thimble charm was found in my Mum's stash!! The sentiment is my own work too.

I would like to enter this into these challenges:
addicted to stamps - Bingo (charm, sentiment, pearls)
That's it from me for now, thanks for popping in!

Hi all....its me back again, have managed a bit of crafting time this afternoon, so I thought I'd share a bit of what I've been up too.

This super-de-doper-de cute fairy is from Di's Digi designs and she has been with me for a while, so I thought it was time to dust her off again. She is coloured with promarkers and a bit of fairy sparklyness. The papers are from Helz Cuppleditch special delivery and a Me to you stack. The flowers are a Joycraft die and the pink bling and ribbon are from my stash. The layout is my take on a sketch, which i'll come to in a mo.

I would like to enter this into these challenges:
di's digi designs - winged things
the squirrel and the fox - here come the girls
allsorts - happy birthday
crafty ribbons - anything goes, with ribbons

Apologies for the ropey quality of the photo - batteries in my camera are flat and I'm having trouble tracking down some decent lithium ones for it, so have had to rely on the camera on my phone...grrrr!

Recipe time with The Cutie Pies!

Hi to you all, hope your holiday weekend has gone well. After spending the best part of yesterday dragging everything out of our "big" shed, sorting out into a much more orderly fashion and then put back in such a way that whenever the hubby starts a sentence with "where's my......." it wont mean a lot of shuffling of boxes! Today has been a much more relaxed day!

Anyway, its time for a new challenge with The Cutie Pies, our theme is a
3,2,1 recipe challenge
that is 3 embellies, 2 papers and 1 super cute Image
For my card I have used this very, very sweet LOTV pre-coloured image, the papers are both digitally produced - the gingham is a freebie from Bev Rochester and not sure where the other came from, and my three embellies are button, bakers twine and dewdrops - all from stash........oh and the sentiment is my own doing.
Thank you to our lovely sponsors for this challenge

and one very luck winner will receive a $10 gift voucher to spend on the super cute and adorable digi stamps from their online store.

For my own DT card, the papers pretty much chose themselves, and are from Papermanie. The Tilda image is coloured with promarkers. So what to you think of this then?

So....Im in my local Morrisons yesterday, doing the weekly shopping (on a Saturday morning - yes I am bonkers!) and fancied some strawberries so I picked up this box for £2 and popped in into the trolley. It wasnt until I got home and pulled the clingfilm off so that I could do a little ....erm...quality control testing, that I realised what a sturdy little box this is and how much potential its has to be altered. I was going to save this photo for a before and after post, but then I thought I'd better give you a bit of a heads-up on this one in case any of you have a hanking for strawberries and pva glue!!

will be back tomorrow with a new Cutie Pie challenge post, bye for now xx

other styles are available!

Hi to you all and I hope I am finding you well! It may have been a quite week by way of my own posts, but rest assured I have been lurking around and reading your posts and looking at your work, when I get the chance too!

So, onto todays card, and this is a belated birthday card that I made for a work colleague who isnt so much into the cute animals/little people style that I usually lean towards, so I put away the digi's and promarkers and got stuck into showing that I do, do other styles!
The papers are from Graphic 45 Secret Garden stack (absolutely love this one, to the point that Im so gonna have to buy another one!!!)
The border punch is from Martha Stewart
The sentiment is my own work, the font is called "great vibes" or something like that.
The flowers are from a dovecraft pack and the ribbon and buttons are from my stash.

I would also like to enter this into these challenges:
crafty sentiments - use a sentiment
ribbon girls - add a button
a gem of a challenge - make it sentimental
one stop craft - flower power
Gotta run off now and do the dishes, so I'll catch you all soon xx

Hi all, well how happy am I that its Friday......goodness me, its felt like a long old week. Am really hoping now that the sunshine will be good to us over the weekend as I am very much hoping to have a potter around the garden - the flymo is in the shed raring to go!
To keep the garden theme going, this is a card that I made yesterday, for an order from a friend of my Mums.

I have used:
Hanglar & Stanglar (kindly doanted) stamped image, coloured with promarkers.
The papers are from Graphic 45 Secret Garden stack, and have used Kraft to matt and layer
The ribbon is from my local Haberashery store
and this cute little flower brad, which you can see in more detail below, has been sitting in one of my brad boxes for so long, I cant remember where it came from!

Anything Goes with Forever Friends!

Hi to you all.........so I hope this week is going well for you, can you believe its May already. Its been a busy week at work, as we have had the dreaded auditor in and various other things going on, so I am a day late with this post....big ooops!
It is time for a new challenge with Forever Friends Monthly challenge, and our theme this time is
ANYTHING GOES

For this months challenge....
we are joined by our two wonderful sponsors,
Bugaboo and Di's Digi Downloads
I have two DT cards to share with you

First up, and I have used this gorgeous Bugaboo image and gone for a Gateleg shaped card.
The blue dotty paper is from a Me to you stack and the other from Glitz papers "hello friend" stack.
Printed out own sentiment and used Memory Box label die
Flowers from stash

This very sweet FF bear, came from a Toppers sheet, which was an absolute bargin that I stumbled upon in The Range a few weeks ago, I paid something like 50p for two A4 sheets of toppers like this one, and are all super images for the sometimes tricky, male cards.
The paper is another bargin which came from Oyster Stamps shop.
The sentiment is again, my own work and have used a woodware corner rounder here.
Buttons from stash.
It would be great to see lots of you joining in with this challenge, so hit the link at the top of the post to join in with us, and to also check out the other gorgeous DT work
