Ok, so it was at Madame Tussards, hehehe! I was about 17 at the time, so it was about 20 (OMG!!) years ago and I no longer have either that knitted waistcoat or that figure!!

Finally started to get myself organised and started on the christmas cards! Here is one i made yesterday:
The image was donated by a very lovely fellow docrafter, and is coloured with promarkers, have used a section of white vellum and embossed it with my trusty Swiss Dots folder. ribbon, button and brads from stash.

nothing ventured, nothing gained!

This is a card i made last week for the Tilda challenge over on docrafts, it is also the card i'd like to use as my "entry" as it were for a DT call from http://cinspirations.blogspot.com/ . The theme is "Autunm Colours". Never tried out for anything like this before, but i saw Natalie's post on DC and thought it give it a go!

oooooh, i've been given a blog award!!

Have been given this fab award by my wonderful docrafting friend Carol. The deal with this is that i have to pick 10 others to receive this award, and also explain why i started my blog in the first place.

Sooooo, I started my blog to have a special little place to show my cards, to be able to go into more detail about how i put them together, and also just to have somewhere to ramble on to my hearts content about stuff that matter to me!

just wanted to share this one with you...

Had a request from a friend from work, for an owl themed wedding card, and whilst i had to do a bit of hunting for a suitable image, the sentiment came to mind almost straight away. I do hope they liked it!
