CWTC and your Festive Fave Digi's

Hi everyone, I back from my holibobs now! We had a wonderful time in the Lake District - such a beautiful part of the world, and it was great to spend time with family. I will share some photo's in a future post, but for now I'm here to tell you about our new Christmas with the Cuties Challenge.
our theme is
Festive Favourite Digi's

We've all got lil' favourites that we never fail to go back to time after time, and I am certain that this adorable image from our lovely sponsor
will become a well used favourite of mine too!
I have also seen a few of the new release of LOTV Christmas digi's too, and I rather suspect that some of those are "old favourite's in waiting", lol

My DT card features:
  • Vintage Carolers from The Paper Nest Dolls
  • coloured with Promarkers
  • papers from Nitiwit Christmas stack
  • sentiment uses Chopin Script font
  • pearls, ribbons and wooden embellishment from stash
If you havent hopped on over for a visit yet, why not - where have you been? We would love to see you and we have some wonderful DT work to share with you!

I would like to enter
as you like it challenge - pearls or gems - for me it would be Pearls everytime, i'm not really a blingy kinda gal, pearls have a more subtle beauty

the downside of every holiday, must be coming home with a ton of laundry and that is the joy that awaits me today - so off to stick the kettle on and get stuck in - bye for now xx

Like Spending time with an old friend......

Hello, and thank yous for taking the time to visit me today......hope all is well with you xx

Whilst, it is such an exciting feeling when you click to download a new digi stamp or rip the wrapper of a new rubber stamp, I find equal joy in stumbling upon a folder on your pc that contains digi's that you havent used for absolutely ages. I have been working my way through stuff on my pc and transferring files over to my laptop, when I opened up the Pink Petticoat file that I've not touched for such  a long while (shame on me!!!)  I had forgotten how much I loved this particular Froggie, so it really was like a chance meeting with an old friend - so that was that and the file tidy up got put to one side in favour of printing, and once printed, well may just a bit of colouring and then maybe I'll just make a little card........
My card features:

  • Frog on swing image from Pink Petticoat (I suspect now discontinued)
  • coloured with Promarkers
  • Dotty card stock from Annamarie designs
  • other paper is a Hobby House magazine freebie
  • used lacy circles spellbinders die, also coloured with promarkers to complement
  • added doily just to lift colours a little
  • woodware flower punch, flowers also coloured with promarkers, and sakura gelly pen to add faux stitch
  • pearls from stash
  • ribbon from local drapery store - I thought the texture of this ribbon matched the frog, beautifully!
I would like to enter:
Passion for promarkers - week-403 add pearls
top row: Summer, Circle, Ribbon

thanks and hugs for dropping in for a visit today - have a great day xx

My Kinda "Sporty"

Hello, and thanking you for bobbing by today - hope you've had a great weekend.

I spotted a couple of challenges this week, with a "sporty" theme. Now, I thoroughly enjoy watching certain sports, but as for taking part - hmmm, not so much! When I was a little girl, probably the most sporty thing I did was pound the pavements on my roller skates. Maybe that's why I am so fond of this gorgeous LOTV digi.......I do love the steely look of determination on her face too, lol
This card features:

  • Roller Skating Annabel digi from LOTV
  • coloured with promarkers
  • LOTV circular digi sentiment
  • dotty papers from Limetree Crafts
  • ribbon and wooden bone embellishment from stash
I would like to enter these challenges:
(I love to use ribbons - as a way to create a border and/or for bows)

Hope your week gets off to a great start!
