A Sweet and Simple Favourite

Good Morning my lovely blog chums........hope you're having a lovely week so far, and how great has the weather been of late too. We even had a BBQ in the garden at the weekend which was a change from the traditional Easter Sunday roast. It doesn't seem set to last though.

So I was scrolling through my news feed, during my tea break, on Tuesday and I spotted that this weeks theme at Passion for Promarkers is "use a favourite digi/rubber stamp"- now that really is a challenge, how do you pick!!! It certainly got me thinking, and I eventually managed to narrow it down to several catergories: fave character/fave animal/fave bear/fave christmas etc etc, if time allows over the weekend I will try and make another card with a favourite from one of the other catergories.....but for now I am sharing with you what is (currently) my favourite "character" digi (sub catergory - girl) (am I overthinking this, lol)

simply named Girl with Flower, from Lee Holland Illustrations - and you can get her here. If you are a cute fan and you havent yet visited this Etsy store yet, then you absolutely should *I will not be held responsible for your spends though!!!!. With such an adorable image to showcase I decided to keep the rest of the card fairly simple, The image is coloured with Promarkers and I used a Die-namics, from MFT Mini Scalloped border die, and then the perforating tool on my paper trimmer. The pretty pretty paper is from a mini stack that came from The Range. My own created sentiment using the Apples Script Font and Arial font, and to finish  Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.

I would like to enter these challenges:
Passion for ProMarkers - favourite digi/rubber stamps
The crafty addicts - A.G with optional Pink
aud sentiments challenge 9th Birthday
The Paper Shelter - Sentimental
Simon says stamp, Wednesdays challenge - A.G

Thank you so much for visiting.....enjoy the rest of your day xx

Feature a Creature at Christmas with the Cuties

Hello there, my lovely blog chums - I wish you all a very Happy and Blessed Easter!

I hope you have had a lovely weekend - the weather here was so good, we had our first BBQ of the year!

I feels a bit odd sharing a Christmas card on Easter Monday -but lets do it anyway, as its time for a brand new challenge at

our theme is

FEATURE A CREATURE

there are all number of animals that lend themselves perfectly to this theme, so we cant wait to see what you come up with!

I went teeny-tiny, creature-wise, and plumped for this adorable mouse from our lovely sponsors

I will probably add a sentiment closer to Christmas, possibly even personalising this card for my daughter, Megan, whilst not such a mouse fan, she does love a candy cane and chunky knitwear!

As ever, I have used Promarkers to colour my image, the background paper is a fabby download from an Etsy store called Digi Rainbow (thank you to Sarah, for the nod in that direction!) I have also used a Snowflake border die, sticky pearls from stash and a plain white ribbon that I coloured with the bluebell promarker to match the bow on the image.

Our wonderful DT have also made some amazing cards for this challenge, so why not hop over and join in the fun!

New Beginnings with the Cuties

Hello, my lovely blog chums - I hope you had a great weekend. I was at the Opticians on Friday to collect my new specs, and I am still getting used to them so hopefully my typing wont be jumbled here, lol........I actually mislaid the previous set at work (cannot recall, for the life of me - what I did with the blooming things!!!!)  so will try to be more diligent with this set.....I am getting more forgetful, the older I get though.......

So its time for our "A Little Extra Cutie-ness" Inspiration post at
and I am sharing my DT card, our theme is
NEW BEGINNINGS

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are:
who also very kindly provided some adorable images for the team to play with - I thought that Pig with Flower, would be fun to use! I have coloured with with Promarkers, and cut our using a Spellbinders nestie die. The papers are from an older Bo Bunny pad, and I have tried to keep the colours fresh and springlike. The fence is a Magnolia die, the ribbon is from my stash, and I finished with just a couple of die cut flowers and YNS gumdrops.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Happy Birthday's with Crafty Friends

Hello my lovely blog chums! I hope you're having a great weekend.....so as I type this we are currently away in our caravan for the weekend. Not tot far away from home, on the Kent coast......but far enough to feel like we're away from home!!!

It's time for a new challenge today, from
Our theme is
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

We all need a ready supply of birthday cards, so what better opportunity, to add to your box!

I made my card, with a very special little girl in mind.....my step Grand Daughter, Erin, who will be 4 soon
I thought that this Pink Gem image, would be perfect, as she is crazy about Unicorns, and I'm sure she would love to own a  costume just like this. She has the most beautiful red hair, which I have tried to recreate here! I have used ProMarkers to colour. The sentiments are my own work, using Piece By Piece font. The papers are bits and bobs from my scraps box. The balloon die used, was an old magazine freebie and is a bit of a favourite of mine. For a little finishing touch I added a couple of Pink Gumdrop, enamel dots from YNS.

One For My Mum

Hello my lovely blog chums, I hope you're having a great week so far.

So the card I am sharing today is the very card that I made for my Mum for Mothers Day.....
This adorable image is Odd Dog, from Lili of the Valley, and I thought it would be perfect for my Mum.....her Patterdale Terrier, Tilly, has become such a good companion over the last few years. I have used ProMarkers to colour, as always. The sentiment is my own creation, and I combined the Apples Script font with the more simple Arial. My favourite embellishments at the moment are Gumdrops/Enamel Dot, and these little lovelies came from Your Next Stamp at Dies to Die For.

I would like to enter:
this is my Promarkers, all day long, I love the selection of colours and the layers of colour that can be achieved
