Can I interest anyone in some candy??????

Hope you're all getting there with your christmas preparations, we are at my parents for chtistmas this year, so havent had quite as much to do as usual.

As it is Christmas, our Cutie Pie dt bossWoo, has put together this super bundle of candy, so if you would like to be in with a chance to win it, hop on over to find out more.........CLICK HERE

Winter Holiday Sentiments at Aud Sentiments

Its Challenge time again, over at AUD SENTIMENTS, and our theme this time is Winter Holiday Sentiments. This has been the perfect boot in the bottom for me to get on with some Christmas cards, as my house move has left me well behind this year..........I may even have to go and, wait for it.......ok, deep breath......go and buy some!!!!! Anyway, back to the challenge, and I really should mention to you that we are sponsored this time by Polka Doodles. On this challenge, and going forward we will also be working with the amazingly talented Paulette from Create with TLC. For each challenge, Paulette will be designing a sentiment, and if you choose to use that on your card, you could be in with an extra chance to win a prize - how fab is that!

So this is my DT card, and I have used the sentiment that Paulette has designed.
Hope to see lots of you joining in with us on this one xx

The Cutie Pies have gone "Bear-tastic"

Well, I can "bearly" believe it, but it is challenge time again at The Cutie Pie challenge blog, and our theme this time is "BEARS". I know so many of you love to use super cute bears on your cards, so I do hope to see lots of you joining in with us on this one!

For my DT card, I have used a Teddy Bo image, this is a first for me, and I absolutely love 'em now. I made this card for my step sons girlfriend, who is a bear fan, but at the same time, not really a girly girl. We do have quite a few Teddy Bo's featured with our DT cards, but this isnt essential to take part, all bears are very welcome!!!
We are sponsored this time by Crafty Emma's Store and the lovely people at Teddy Bo.

If you would like to come and play with the bears, CLICK HERE to join in xx

Good Morning blog friends xx

Woke up this morning feeling all warm and cosy, and straight away thought "Yay, its not as cold as it has been for the last few days", then I got into my kitchen and realised the heating had been left on overnight - ooops!

No card from me today, and in fact for a wee while now. Although, we still dont have a definate moving date, it should be fairly soon now, so this afternoon I will be packing up my stash and despatching it at my parents house (for safe keeping!!), spare a thought for me during this sad time.

Just wanted to remind you all also, that there is still a week to go to join in with our fab recipe challenge at THE CUTIE PIE CHALLENGE BLOG. The "ingredients" would lend themselves nicely to a Christmas card too, so if that was what you had on your agenda for the day, then its gotta be worth a look.

Have a great weekend all, keep warm xx

Life is full of challenges!

It certainly is for me at the moment anyway! For those of you that didn't know, we are currently in the process of packing up everything to move house, hopefully at the end of the month, although we are still waiting for a definate date....grrrrrr! I am slowing getting the hump with cardboard boxes everywhere at home.
Cameron's 11+ results came through last weekend, and sadly he was 12 points short of the pass mark, we have been encouraged by his school to appeal, so this has been a whole bunch more of forms to fill in! And somewhere in the middle of all this madness, we are really busy at work!
Usually when life gets stressful, I make a hasty retreat to my beloved craft desk, but I cant even do that at the moment - cos there are blummin' cardboard boxes on it!!!
Ho hum and rant over, I do have one lovely challenge related thing to share with you all - and that is my card for this weeks AUD SENTIMENTS CHALLENGE.
This time its a card/project with a winter theme, and the challenge is sponsored by the wonderful and super cute, Lili of the Valley.
As you can see, it is an adorable LOTV image that I have used on my DT card.

Hope to get back to normal blogging as soon as possible
hugs to you all

The summer holiday seems to have flown by, and Megan is back at school on friday, have been getting the last of her bits together, and pretty much clearing the shelves of my local Rymans - just how much stationary does a 13 yr need!!!
So, onto a card, and I've had this one on my desk since the weekend waiting to be uploaded. The image is another fabby Dustin Pike. Thursday, 18 August 2011

Hello all!

Not such a nice day here today, but the grey skies did mean that I didnt feel guilty about opting to stop indoors and craft instead of throwing the mower around the front garden.
This is a card that my step daughter asked me to make for some friends of hers, this image is a pre coloured one from Lili of the Valley, and I think it is just super cute. The papers are from a Fizzy Bear stack, flowers are punched from my yummy new woodware punch, sentiment created on my pc. I would like to enter this card into these challenges:-

GlitterFairies - pretty in pink
I've been thinking, that usually started my christmas cards by now, so I guess im gonna have to get started - things could get very glittery around here!!!

Every journey has to start some where.......

.......and I've got a pretty long one ahead of me! Dont worry folks, im not off and away, well not all of me. After Cameron was born I decided to do Weightwatchers, I lost nearly four stone in about 7mnths and was incredibly proud of myself, however, over the last couple of years I seem to have found my way back into the biscuit tin and what I lost, has returned - and brought along friends for company, so to speak! So i've decided it is time to have another go, not going to an organised class as such, but I have some fab friends at work who I know will keep me on track and give me hugs when I need them at kicks up the bum where necessary too. I know this is an issue with some of you guys too, so I hope i've got support from you all too. So wish me luck, im so gonna need it.

Almost forgot to add - lost 4lb in the first week.

Saturday, 13 August 2011

birthdays are like buses.........

....and September is one of those months when loads arrive, including both of my kids! So thought i'd better make a start.
This is the card that i've made for Megan to give to Cam. Have used one of the Lili of the Valley coloured images that I won a few months ago. This little chap is a wee bit younger than my boy, but they do share the same scruffy mop of hair, so I thought this would be perfect.
I would like to enter this card into these challenges too:
Here Come the Boys - critters
Card Makin Mamas - birthdays
Pixie Dust Studio challenge - boys will be boys
Birthday Sundaes - birthdays
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday, we are heading out later to hopefully tackle the dreaded "school uniform shopping". Got time for a bit of blog browsing now though :)

Sunday, 7 August 2011

Found my way back to blogland!

Cooeee, Im back, Hope you are all fine and good! We actually returned home from Scotland on Wednesday morning and, being the domestic goddess that I am (really!!) I have been up to my eyes in washing, ironing and getting the house back into a reasonable state of order - apologies for my use of offensive words here btw, So I havent had too much time for crafting or blogging.
Trying not to be a total holiday bore here, but thought I'd share a few snaps with you all.

This is travelling from Perth to Aviemore through the Cairngorms - one of my favourite drives in the world.

This is Megan and Cameron playing with my step grandson. He was 3 in May, cant believe how much he has grown up since we saw him last summer.

You're not on holiday till you've had an Ice Cream, and that includes Nippy, lol! Rizza's of Lossiemouth - your Ice Cream is awesome.

I absolutely loved Lossiemouth - lovely little town and some of the bestest doggy walks we've done! Nippy and I loved the gorgeous sandy beach.

So thats what I've been up to............looks like i've got some catching up to do on here now, lol!

Thursday, 21 July 2011

Off on my jollies...............

Just a quick post from me to say cheerio for a wee while to you lovely blog folk! We are off to Scotland tomorrow morning, visiting hubby's family on the Fife coast and on the Moray coast. Packing is just about all done, although still contemplating whether to smuggle in my promarkers and a stash of digis (just in case, lol)

Catch up with you all soon, hugs and best wishes from me xx

Saturday, 16 July 2011

Good Morning Blogfriends!
