One for my Dad!

Hope you all enjoying this bank holiday monday. As per usual I had to work this today, but as the kids are now on half term break, at least I didnt have to faff around doing school runs and got home just after 2pm!

With Fathers day fast approaching, I have been super organised with my cards this year. Today I made the "For my Dad from the kids" card.

This image is from the very clever Dustin Pike. The dp is an oldie, the sentiment ticket is amother one of my own creations. The other corner label thingys were made using the top part of a sizzix tag die.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:

Lexi's Creations - Father's day/mans card

Here come the boys - Fathers day

Craft your days away - Fathers day/special man

Can I also say a massive thank you for the comments that you wonderful folk leave - it really is appreciated. xx

This is the Wedding Card I was supposed to be making!

Managed to get it all done this afternoon, the pictures arent great as my phone camera isnt too hot, but used a this ivory dp to paper piece the wedding dress, sentiment done on pc, dew drops added too. Hope they like it!

Not Quite the Wedding card I was supposed to be making!

But when I sat down at the 'putor yesterday and found "Carrie the Caterpillar" who is a fab freebie at the moment from Pink Gem (thank you so much Janet!), I couldnt wait to print and play............then I found myself drawn to the new Gem of a Challenge sketch and there was just no stopping me,lol!
The dp's are a very old download from Scrapbooking mad. The ticket sentiment is my own creation again. Also added a bit of stickles to a few key spots just to give Carrie a bit of sparkle!

I would also like to enter this card into these challenges:
2 Sisters - anything goes
Creations by Gill M - Green and Pink, plus flowers

Must get this Wedding card made this afternoon, have a lovely sunday xx

One happy little.....me!!

After weeks and weeks of nervously waiting, we had our stores visit from the company auditor on Monday, we were pretty much at the stage of just sheer relief to have it done with, but the great big fat cherry on top was that not only did we pass, but we passed with 92%, which is the top score for our region and places us joined 4th for the whole company (over 300 stores). We have been working our bloomin' socks off, so we are so delighted. We are all off out for a hen do on friday night, so I think there could be a few drinky-poos to celebrate!

That aside, I have another little card to share with you all! Just love playing with H & St images they are gorgeous to colour in.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:

Diva's by design - for the girls

my mums craft shop - anything by square

mamidoodles - spots and stripes

Well, thats me off to bed now, catch you all soon xx

Hi all!

Hope you've all had a good day. Just a quickie from me and then im off for a bath then will settle down to watch Glee! This is my card for this weeks Less is More challenge, the theme of the week is white on white. I believe it is ok to use black for an outline or sentiment, so I think we're ok there! Have used swiss dots embossing folder on the base card and also the circular nestie, the hearts are cut from an sizzix die with "stardust" stickles glitter glue added for a yummy bit of sparkle. At Mandi's (from LIM) suggestion I have photographed this instead of scanning it, but my camera isnt fantastic, so I hope this looks ok.

thats all from me for now, catch you all later xx

Good Morning Blogfriends!

Bit of a grey start to the day here in Kent, have got towels in the washing machine so I do hope it brightens up. Not to sure why, but I took it upon myself, yesterday, to have a clear out in the shed. Ok, so I got loads done and it does look more orderly and tidier, but bloomin' eck bits of me do ache today as a result of humphing around hubbys trolley jack and the like. Food shopping later and then a nice lazy day today, methinks!!

Anyway, one little card from me today. When I was pregnant with Megan, the very first item of clothing I brought for her was a pair of denim dungarees - love 'em, they're just so cute, and these ones are just like them! This super cute H&S image was donated my a wonderful DC buddy. She is coloured with promarkers. Doily is from a recent blog candy win with a bit of stickles glitter glue added, dp's are from Wild Rose Studio, brads from papermania and the buttons are from Dunelm Mill Sentiment done on my pc.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:-

My mums craft shop - cute and girly

Mamidoodles - lets get girly

Divas by design - anything goes

Kaboodle designs - "B" embellishments

By the cute and girly - anything goes

have a lovely day all xx

Yet another bank holiday...............

.......and guess who has had to work today - again!! Because I didnt have to do a school run today, I consoled myself with a bit of me time at my craft table when I got in.

and this is the result! This cute little chap is called Josh and he is a fairly old digi, from Digi stamp boutique. He is a bit of a fave of mine and fab to colour. The double sided dp is from stash,as are button and brads. The sentiment was created on page plus se, the font is called Smitten Kitten.

This is my very first entry in the very first Here come the boys challenge, the theme is anything goes. Have been looking forward to this one!

Have a lovely evening all xx
