LOL's with the Cutie Pies

Hello my blogfriends, my goodness these Mondays do roll around quickly dont they! We have a new challenge with the Cutie Pies and the theme is
LOTS OF LAYERS

We have two lovely sponsors this time

and

.......and we are also on the lookout for Guest Cuties too, so come and pay us a visit, and also check out the other gorgeous cards that our Cutie DT have made

For my card I have used "Shy Alice" from Cedar Chest Designs, coloured with promarkers and have paper peiced her frock too
Papers are Secret Garden from Graphic 45
dies/punches are Nellie Snellen (large rectangle), small section from Memory Box Savannah border and the wee flowers are a woodware punch.
also used, pearls from Meiflower, white bow from Hobbycraft and Pearl heart is a button I found in my Mum's button tin!

Before I go, just wanted to share a little picture with you, which some of my older Docraft may have seen at some point, but anyway............this was me and the hubby, 13 years ago today

apologies for the quality of the photo, but my albums are all packed away in a cupboard at the moment, but you'll get the idea anyway, lol. The little cutie beside me is Megan, she was two and a half and Cameron was the bump that my bouquet is covering........its not everyone that get there wedding dress from a store called "Blooming Marvellous", but heigh-ho........oh, and as for the hubby, I did tell Alistair that I wouldnt marry him unless he wore a kilt and I think he scrubbed up good for the occasion!

Take care and I'll catch up with you all soon xx

  12. Adorable card. I've been "stuck" on this color for a few months now...it's that soft aqua that is constantly catching my eye. Don't know why, but lately it's my color of choice. This is done wonderfully with the paper piecing that matches the paper in the accent strip. Oh...you didn't think we really looked at your cards, did you? Hehehhehe. Love the lace...love lace on everything I do, and adore the diecut you used around the image. This is a very very cute card and I've looked at it more than once. Thanks for joining us at the Sweet Stampin' Challenge this week! Hope to see you again soon. --Gail
