Clean and Simple at Christmas with the Cuties

Hello there my lovely blog chums......I hope you've had a good weekend, mine started with a bump - literally!!! I toppled over my own feet at work on Friday, as I was climbing down from a step stool, and somehow as I tried to break my fall, I managed to dislocate my thumb. I had to go to the emergency department at the hospital and I now have a glove splint in place.

I have to speak to the fracture clinic later in the week, after they have seen my x-rays, and am hoping that I haven't incurred any ligament damage....its still quite sore, but starting to feel a little better.

Anyway enough of my injuries......

We have a fabulous new challenge at

Celebrating with PASSION FOR MARKERS

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I hope this post finds you keeping well and coping in this current heatwave!

We have a super fun new challenge at

PASSION FOR MARKERS

and the theme is

CELEBRATE

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are

Who also kindly provided some amazing digi stamps for the team to work with......I am using Birthday Cocktail, which I chose but it was until I sat down to get colouring that I didn't have the faintest idea about how to tackle an ice cube!!! Not too sure what kind of cocktail this would be, but I think a decent splash of vodka and curaçao would be involved. I cut the image using a faux stitched die, and the papers are from an old stack from The Works. My own sentiment features Penelope Ann font, and glittery enamel dots added to complete.

Celebration cards are always great to make,  so I do hope that you will join us.

and the theme is

PAPER PIECE IT!

Our lovely sponsors are

Who have a great prize for our lucky winner and also very kindly provided some adorable images for the team to work with......you can find the image that I am using here . I used what I think is a Dovecraft paper for the main part together with a panel of pink gingham card. I used Promarkers for the remaining colouring.  I  added a sentiment and some buttons to complete.

I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us.

Crafty Calendar July atg

As You Like It favourite way to add stitching - for  me it has to be using faux  stitched die cuts, the neat and tidy finish would be much better than anything I could do by myself.

Creative Knockouts #409 something to say ( add a sentiment)

Crafty Catz  #559  atg, with optional twist CAS

Thank you so much for visiting me today 😘

PASSION FOR MARKERS - Animals

Good Morning my lovely blog chums.....I do hope that this finds you well.

We took ourselves away, last weekend, to visit my husband's sister and her husband in Yorkshire. We usually meet up a couple of times a year but obviously this hasn't been possible, so we had a lot of catching up to do. It was a really enjoyable weekend. Lots of laughter, yummy meals out and some lovely walks around Peninne beauty spots. For quite a while this year it had looked as if trips away like this would be no-go for my hubby because of his health, but he was so keen to go....today he is feeling weary from the journey but he'll be ok in a day or so.

Anyway, its challenge day again, with

PASSION FOR MARKERS

and our theme is
ANIMALS

Our lovely sponsors are
Who you can visit here

When I made my DT card I had actually misplaced my varifocals (which I thankfully have since found!) So I wasn't sure how this would turn out,  but I think I got there eventually. This adorable little mouse comes from a stamp set from Colorado Craft Company, which my hubby actually chose - all by himself - for my birthday, it should actually a four leaved clover that the mouse is holding, but I think it can be versatile enough to use as a flower. The sentiment set was also a birthday pressie. I am using Promarkers to colour. The pretty paper is from a pad from The Works. I added a wee dab of Wink of Stella, to the butterfly and an enamel dot on the flower.

Do come on over and join us, and also check out the other fabulous DT cards.
