Hello there my lovely blog chums, well, what a few days it has been. Such a sad loss to our country, of our much beloved Queen Elizabeth.
I am here with a new Cutie Pie Challenge, which I will tell you about in a moment. I did wonder if it would be more respectful to postpone this challenge, but on reflection I decided to press on for a couple of reasons. Firstly, on a personal note, one of my first memories of both her Majesty and partaking in craft activities, was "helping" my mother make my costume for our Silver Jubilee Street Party in 1977( I say helping, but I think there was a little bit of helping myself to the fruit gum sweeties that I was supposed to glue on to my beautiful crown.) Also, I know I'm not alone in feeling an unexpected sadness at this time, but there is always comfort and solace at our craft desks and amongst friends, in fact, I can imagine in times long ago, groups of women would have gathered to console each other, so there we go......
Anyway, our new challenge has the theme of
BIRTHDAY BEARS

Due to current printer problems, I am using a LOTV rubber stamp for my card, which I die cut, with the balloon out of the box, and coloured with Promarkers. The flower paper is from a very old Docrafts stack and the mini polkadot paper is from Doodlebug. I used the reverse side of the polka dot paper, together with some ribbon to create a panel. I completed the card with a stamped birthday greeting.
