Oh Bring Us Some Figgy Pudding!

Hi there my lovely blog chums, hope all is fine and well with you today.  It's been a busier day here, dog sitting whilst my daughter and her partner go to IKEA, and then taking our old doggo to the vets for a bit of a once over, He is 15, and has some bother with arthritis in his back legs, poor wee boy

Anyway,  We have a super fun new challenge,  this week, at

  CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES

Our theme is

ANYTHING CUTE AND CHRISTMAS

Optional Theme:  "Oh bring us some figgy pudding"  (feature any Christmas related foods/drinks)

However we may celebrate the Festive Season, food and drink is often at the heart of our celebrations. Our optional extra for this challenge is all about those goodies that we always look forward to .
For my own DT card I am using this adorable pre-coloured image from LOTV,  The sentiment is also from LOTV. I am using Nitwit papers.. I have been trying to keep many of my Christmas cards fairly flat, this year, for easy postage.

Think Pink, with The Cuties

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I do hope that you're having a good week so far. We had a short trip to Yorkshire, last weekend to take the opportunity to visit my S.I.L and her husband. We made a point of going out for dinner on Sunday and having a Roast Turkey Dinner, so I guess for me, Christmas has already started,  lol!

But for now, back to October and our new

CUTIE PIE CHALLENGE

Our theme this time is always poignant at this time of year as we

THINK PINK

Our lovely sponsors are

Who have a fabulous digi stamp prize for our lucky winner

For my own DT card I am using Working hard Winnie, and have used Promarkers to colour. The polka dot paper and the pretty flowery paper are from an older stack that I think I purchased from The Range. The green patterned paper was a magazine freebie. I used a faux stitched square die for matting and layering. I also used a small scalloped edged border die. I think that this super cute image could lend itself to numerous occasions, so I  decided not to add a sentiment at the moment. I can do so as and when.

Whenever we have this theme we always have some amazing entries, so I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us.

Use More Than One Die, with Crafty Friends

Hello there my lovely blog chums, I hope you've had an enjoyable weekend. We were at a church charity quiz on Saturday, we came third which we were pretty chuffed about. Yesterday we had a lovely walk out with the dogs enjoying the autumn sunshine.

So, we have a fabulous new challenge over at CRAFTY FRIENDS, and our theme for October is......

USE MORE THAN ONE DIE

I love this cute little LOTV digi, which I have coloured with Promarkers. The blue polkadot paper is from Limetree Crafts and the brown patterned paper is a Nitwit download. So as for the all important dies.....to create the two Kraft borders, I used a rectangular die, with a faux stitch, paired it with a scalloped edged die, again with the faux stitching. For a little finishing touch I used a pennant die with a little heart die.

I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us,

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus........CWTC

Hello there my lovely blog chums......I hope that this finds you keeping well.

We have a fabulous new challenge at

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES

Our challenges are always Cute, Christmassy and this year we have optional themes based on Christmas songs and Carol's.....so for the next few weeks we will be singing along to

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

We want to see your cards and Creations, featuring the man himself.

For my own DT card, I have been using a combination of clip artimages from a set, I'd got from Etsy a while ago. This is from Jo Kavanagh Designs, and I would highly recommend a peep as she has some adorable sets. The snowy background scene is from Digistamp Boutique. To add just a little bit of dimension to the design I added Glossy Accents to the coloured gum drops.

Anyway , I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us

Birthday Bears with The Cutie Pies

Hello there my lovely blog chums, well, what a few days it has been. Such a sad loss to our country, of our much beloved Queen Elizabeth.

I am here with a new Cutie Pie Challenge, which I will tell you about in a moment. I did wonder if it would be more respectful to postpone this challenge, but on reflection I decided to press on for a couple of reasons. Firstly,  on a personal note, one of my first memories of both her Majesty and partaking in craft activities, was "helping" my mother make my costume for our Silver Jubilee Street Party in 1977( I say helping, but I think there was a little bit of helping myself to the fruit gum sweeties that I was supposed to glue on to my beautiful crown.) Also, I know I'm not alone in feeling an unexpected sadness at this time, but there is always comfort and solace at our craft desks and amongst friends, in fact, I can imagine in times long ago, groups of women would have gathered to console each other, so there we go......

Anyway, our new challenge has the theme of

BIRTHDAY BEARS

Our lovely sponsors are

Due to current printer problems,  I am using a LOTV  rubber stamp for my card, which I die cut, with the balloon out of the box, and coloured with Promarkers. The flower paper is from a very old Docrafts stack and the mini polkadot paper is from Doodlebug. I used the reverse side of the polka dot paper, together with some ribbon to create a panel. I completed the card with a stamped birthday greeting.

Anyone fancy a night out on the town?

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I hope that you are having a great week so far.

So we have a fabulous new challenge at

PASSION FOR MARKERS

Linda has set the theme of
"A Night On The Town"

Our lovely sponsors are

I am using Party Shoes from Sheepski. If you head home carrying your shoes, because your feet ache so much from dancing the night away, then it's been a good night!!!! I have used Promarkers to colour. I have kept my design quite simple, I am using some lovely,  shimmery pearlescent card with a stamped sentiment.

We might not be tearing up the dance floor, but this challenge should still be lots of fun so I hope that you will hop on over and join us.

Fairies/Fantasy with Crafty Friends

Hello there my lovely blog chums, so I hope September has got itself off to a good start for you. We have been enjoying a few days away in the caravan, staying just outside Eastbourne. We have been spending some time with family who came down from Yorkshire, and have had lovely weather, lots of laughter and a copious amount of pink gin!

We have a fabulous new challenge at

 CRAFTY FRIENDS

And our theme is

Me, being me, I went for Cuteness, rather than ethereal, using this fabulous oldie, which I think, was from Sugar Nellie. I have left a suitable corner to add a sentiment or personalisation later on. She is coloured with Promarkers and I also used Wink of Stella to give her wings a more shimmery look. My paper combo features pink gingham and pink hearts which were a magazine freebie, paired blue tiny polkadot from Doodlebug.
I added a couple of pretty, die cut stars to embellish.

I do hope that you will hop on over and play along with us......
