Evening all!

Hope you're all well and have seen a bit of sunshine today.....lets hope it stays with us!

Have been MIA for the last week pretty much, loads going on with Cam's school as the end of the term came around, my boy has now finished with primary school so as well as it being a busy time it has been a bit of an emotional one too. To be fair, it doesnt take a lot to set me off, but I have had my fair share of the boohoo's of late. Oh, and we also received a letter from the grammar school that Megan attends telling us that based on the end of year exams, she is in the top ten of her year group (approx 150 girls).........gonna need some more kleenex!!!!

Anyway, have had like no time at all to craft, so hoping to get time to play over the next few days.

Have any of you got to see the Olympic torch relay? Cam and I went to the town centre in chatham (where I live) on friday morning, and it was great fun, the atmosphere was fantastic, with canons being fired from and all sorts going on. Its lovely to have these things to look back on in years to come and be able to say "I was there...."

The upside of this lousy rain........

I dont know if there is an official term or name for "one who has a thing about Rainbows", well if there is - then I'm one! Megan spotted this beauty out of her bedroom window this evening, and I can honestly say I cant ever remember seeing ome with such vibrancy of colour (photo's do it no justice!) or in such a perfect curve........I felt a burst of "all things bright and beautiful" bubbling up inside

So twice today I have got caught and ended up with my trousers stuck to my legs and my hair dripping, but suddenly life doesnt seem so bad.

Glitter and Bling with The Cutie Pies

So its Monday again, and that means its challenge day with the cutie pie's and,as my title should tell you, its all about "Glitter and Bling".

Have used this adorable Wee Stamps image, coloured with promarkers, the papers are a new papermania stack, the dandelion thingymebobs have been prettied up with some stickles stardust, card candi, rikrak and pink bling from stash. The butterfly was donated, If anyone can tell me which type of punch or die it is, that would be fab 'cos I wanna get it!!

anyone for a cupcake???

I do actually love real life cupcakes and Betty Crockers frosting is one of my favourite things - not to good for the old waistline though, so maybe im better off sticking with these sort of cupcakes instead! This super cute image is from Bugaboo, she is coloured with promarkers with a cheeky dollop of glossy accents on her pumps, the bunting, paper and ribbon is from Dovecraft Tea House range. Have used my trusty swiss dots folder and also a section of a happy birthday folder, the sentiment was made on pc using tempus sans font, bit of bling and card candi added for good measure - and there we go!
