Favourite Colours.....and a bit of cake, at PASSION FOR MARKERS

 Hello again, my lovely blog chums......I'm back, with my second post of the week. If you are given to "doing" Valentines, then I hope you had a wonderfully romantic day yesterday. We don't tend to bother so much, ourselves, although the hubby did take me out for dinner on Sunday,  if that counts. 

Anyway, over at 

PASSION FOR MARKERS 

its Team 2's week, and Karen gave us the theme of 

FAVOURITE COLOURS 

I always struggle with this theme,  having favourite colours, and then favourite colour combo's, but for my DT I went for the latter 

I love a bit of beige, ivory and pink together - much like a Neopolitan Ice Cream.

Who have a store stuffed with super fun digi's. They also supplied images for the team to work with and I couldn't resist this birthday cake. I am using Promarkers to colour. The sentiment is my own creation and it features "champagne limousine" font and ". The plaid paper is a Nitwit download. I added a wee wooden flower and enamel dots from YNS to complete.

Anyway, its time for a new Cutie Pie Challenge, and as this is such an important time of year, for some of the special people in our lives, we have set our theme as

For my own DT card, I chose this lil' sweetie from Paper Nest Dolls. She is coloured with 

Promarkers. I created a border section with a couple of faux stitched dies. The sentiment is my own creation. The wee button embellishments were purchased, a while ago now, from Crafty Ribbons - who, as well some beautiful Ribbons, also have a great range of buttons too.

Spring Colours, with PASSION FOR MARKERS

 Good Morning my lovely blog chums....I hope that this finds you keeping well and that your week has got off to a good start. At the weekend, Cameron challenged me to have a go at this Wordle game thingy.....his usual gaming involves Fifa football teams or Call of Duty type games, so it was nice to see him doing something like this.....and now he has got me hooked!!! I'm on day 4, getting frustrated as there is only puzzle per day!!!

Januar  always feels like such a grey time of year, so Elaine has chosen the perfect theme to lift our spirits with.....

We were given the opportunity to work with a fabulous image from LeAnn's and I chose Jenna. She seems quite a funky gal, so she deserved a funky hair colour. The cute stripey paper was a remnant from my scrap box. The sentiment was created using a small embossed section, together with a die cut sentiment. I also added die cut balloons and a birthday pressie.

 Hello again, my lovely bog chums......its a cold, but sunny morning here in Kent . I hope your day has got off to a bright start. 

It's the turn of Team 2, this week, at

As far back, as using the chunky green, yellow and red sizzex dies, they have always been a firm favourite, so I very much enjoyed this theme.

For my DT card I am using "Little Flower Girl", which you can find HERE  many thanks to All Dressed Up for providing such a sweet image to use. I am using Promarkers to colour, and these super pretty papers are from The Range. As for the all important dies, well.....I am using a faux stitched square, a faux stitched scalloped border, together with flower dies. I added a small button to complete.

Purr-fectly Simple

 Hello there my lovely blog chums......I hope that this finds you well. How was your weekend? It was fairly quiet and uneventful here. Sunday evening highlight, at the moment is settling down in front of "Call The Midwife", withFab & Funky a glass of something and the necessary box of tissues!

I was able to get on with a couple of DT cards, and even managed to make an extra card, for my box, .

The black card used here, actually has gold flecks all over it, but that doesn't show too well in my photo. I used a faux stitched square die, together with a sentiment die, and a sweet cat die.

 Good Morning my lovely blog chums......Happy New Year 🥳🍾

I very much hope that you've had a lovely Festive Season.....our Christmas got off to a wonderful start with our daughter and her boyfriend announcing their engagement. We had a small family get together on Boxing day, but other than that it's been a fairly quiet one....I didn't even bother stopping up to bring in the new year.

Anyway, I want to share my first DT card of 2022.

It was my turn to set the theme, and I have plumped for

For my own DT card I am using an older digi stamp, from LITTLE MISS MUFFET - what a sweetie! I am using Promarkers to colour, with a little white Sakura gelly pen.  I am such a fan of the Sue Wilson slimline dies....I have the faux stitched rectangle set for a while now, and I was delighted to receive a couple of the aperture trio dies, that accompany so well, for Christmas.....I think they will be firm favourites this year! The sentiment is my own creation and it features Zipty Doo font. I thought that a few die cut stars would match his little t-shirt.
