Hi all, hope you are all fine and dandy! Cant believe the summer holidays are nearly done, im back to work tomorrow (boohoo!) but have had a couple of great weeks off. Started with a very busy, and extremely fun long weekend in Scotland, spending time with Alistairs family, and yesterday rounded my hols off with a trip to London with my mum and kids. Many years ago I used to work in an office in Whitehall, but never did much touristy stuff, so I really enjoyed what we did, thought i'd share a few piccies of the day:

Ok, so it was at Madame Tussards, hehehe! I was about 17 at the time, so it was about 20 (OMG!!) years ago and I no longer have either that knitted waistcoat or that figure!!
The image was donated by a very lovely fellow docrafter, and is coloured with promarkers, have used a section of white vellum and embossed it with my trusty Swiss Dots folder. ribbon, button and brads from stash.
This is a card i made last week for the Tilda challenge over on docrafts, it is also the card i'd like to use as my "entry" as it were for a DT call from http://cinspirations.blogspot.com/ . The theme is "Autunm Colours". Never tried out for anything like this before, but i saw Natalie's post on DC and thought it give it a go!
Had a request from a friend from work, for an owl themed wedding card, and whilst i had to do a bit of hunting for a suitable image, the sentiment came to mind almost straight away. I do hope they liked it!
