Monochrome Cutie Pies!

Hi all, Im a bit late in the day posting this, but here I am now! Sooooo its monday and challenge day again with The Cutie Pies and this time we want to see "Monochromatic" (we will allow for hair, skin and fur of course!) So here is my DT card:

I made this a few weeks ago as a belated birthday card for a lovely DC friend and have been bursting to upload it! The image is Gilly from Prairie Fairy, who are very kindly sponsoring us, as are Ewe 2 can craft, you can read more about this, and also check out our fab teamies work by clicking on the link at the top of this post.

Yay, its Friday, and whilst I know its going to be a busy weekend with our decorating at least i'll get a bit of a lay-in tomorrow!

Just wanted to share this card with you, I made it for a friend of mine, and thought that this sentiment would work wonderfully with this LOTV image!

Have been up to the eyeballs this week, as we are finally getting started on house decorating. First room up is the lounge. Spent the first part of the week choking on dust whilst my hubby was sanding down the artex on the chimney breast, and then I got cracking with stripping the wallpaper. First two wall went fine, but have been at it today and have found as much plaster coming down as wallpaper........argh!! got a plasterer coming out to have a look! So glad I can come on here for a bit of normal xx

Well its all go in Cutie Pie land at the moment. Our DT lead, the wonderful and very talented Woo, had decided to stand down, and we now have a new leader in the shape of Lisa (craftybirdLisa), we have a new dt member, who is Becky, but sadly we are also waving farewell to Karen.

So, onto the next challenge and this time its all about CIRCLES (no straight lines!!!!!).

third post of the day............

Me again! Actually does it count as the third post of the day if the first one was at 3.30ish this morning (urgh!) Anyway, am hope from work, there is a chicken casserole in the oven and I am making the most of the fact that the kids are out with my step-daughter and hubby is still working, so its just me and nippy!

So I wanted to post another card here today, and this I made for the Bear challenge, over in the land of Docrafts, that I am hosting for the next two weeks. My theme is Beginning with B, and I think I got quite a few "B"'s going on here:

This little sweetie, I believe, is an Elzybells stamp. This is a donated image, which had been completely forgotten about, which is a bit rubbish on my part, 'cos he is adorable!  Anyway, i've coloured him with pro's, and found a complementary coloured bow lurking at the bottom of my ribbon box, buttons and brad from stash, the paper is from a Fizzy Moon stack and the "birthday" sentiment is cut from a section of a cuttlebug folder and rounded the corners (thats a bit of a favourite with me!)

Well if you've my earlier post, you'll be glad to know I did get back to sleep for a bit........until the plinky-plonky music and the four-legged alarm clocks had other ideas, lol.

Wanted to add another card that was made over the weekend.

Im going through a bit of a LOTV phase at the mo, but you've only got to have a bit of a trawl around the land of Blog to see im not the only one. Coloured with my beloved pro's, cut and layered onto scalloped circle nestie and then doily, buttons ribbon and pearls from stash, the yummy gingham is once again a Bev Rochester freebie and have printed the sentiment using Tempus Sans font.
