Feature a Creature, at Christmas with the Cuties

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I hope that you are keeping well. So I guess now we are all waiting in anticipation to see what tiers we will be placed on, once we leave this lockdown next week.....prior to this my region was in Tier 1, but the infection rate has escalated so much that I'm certain we will jump to Tier 3. The neighbouring Borough of Swale is second highest in the country, and the hospital that serves Swale is our local hospital too, so this surely doesn't bode well. This all frustrates me so much, I maintain it has been people's complacency that has caused this. The thing that makes me feel so miserable, is that it is looking unlikely now, that I will be able to have my daughter over to join us in putting the Christmas decorations up.....we've done this together since she was tiny, and when she moved out, she was very insistent that we'd still continue this tradition. This probably seems quite insignificant to other people's troubles, but there we go.

Anyway, on to more cheery things.....we have a fabulous new challenge at CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES

Our theme is

FEATURE A CREATURE

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are our good friends at

who have a great prize for our lucky winner, you can also visit their fabulous store - just click on the badge!

Lee also very kindly provided some delightful Digi's for the team to work with...I couldn't resist this super cute dragon. He is coloured with Promarkers with Wink of Stella on his jingly bell. The snowflake paper is an oldie magazine freebie. I decided to add a die cut pennant to match the spikes on the dragon. The sentiment is a LOTV download, I added enamel dots to complete.

I do hope you will play along with us.....just click the link

Add More Buttons, with The Cuties

Good Morning to you, my lovely blog chums. I hope you had some kind of enjoyable weekend. I had work yesterday morning, but took the dogs out in the afternoon only to get caught in a heavy rain shower.....two soggy, doggy's and one soggy Me!!! Once I'd got home and dried off, we settled on the sofa and made a start on the new series of The Crown, on Netflix.

I'm back today with my Little Extra Cutie-ness inspiration card. Just to remind you, our current theme is

Add a Button(s)

For my card, I used a very, very sweet little LOTV digi, which is coloured with Promarkers. I used faux stitched circle dies to create my easel card, and added a mini doily to frame. The papers are Nitwit downloads. I added the all important buttons, and finally used wink of stella to create a kind of gummed look on the envelope.

Fancy playing along? You can join us here, we'd love to see you.

The Holly and the.......carolling dog!

Hello there my lovely blog chums.....I hope that you've had a good week. Its been a suprisingly busy one here. When Megan moved out, earlier this year, we asked Cameron if he wanted to move into her old room as it is larger, but at the time he couldn'tbe bothered.....until this week, so Wednesday was spent moving furniture about and getting settled into my new (smaller) craft room.

Now that I'm all unpacked, I made another card for the Christmas box.....I'm going to have to get organised very soon, with my card list.

I used one of my favourite little images from LOTV....who wouldn't love a Carol singing dog, he is coloured with Promarkers. The dp, was an old magazine freebie, I die cut a square with a faux stitched die, and then cut out a circle, which I topped with a Spellbinders fancy circle die. The finishing touch was a Holly embellishment which is my own little make using air dry clay, a cake decorating tool, Promarkers, again to colour, Mod Podge to glaze and finally flat back pearls.

Cosy Christmas Bear#

Hello, My lovely blog chums. I do hope that this finds you well.

So what a week this has been, we had a busy few days at the beginning of the week, getting a few things done before Thursdays lockdown, fortunately we even squeezed in an afternoon with my Grandsons. Then its been back at work yesterday and today, I know I should feel fortunate that I had a job to go back to,  but I must admit that I'm not really enjoying it at the moment. I feel anxious about being in much closer contact with members of the public, but hopefully in time I'll settle back in.

I decided to spend my afternoon working on a couple more Christmas cards for my box...

I had treated myself to Cosy Christmas Bear from LOTV, and decided to use it on a clean, simple design, adding my own sentiment. I added an embossed panel with a Holly die cut, I used doodlebug enamel dots for the berries.
