The One with the cute mittens

Good Morning my lovely blog chums!
Hope you've been having a good week......I've not been far, for the last couple of days but have been busy at home, giving the walls of our front room, a fresh lick of paint.

With it all done, and everything back in place, I still managed to find time to put together today's card......

This is based on the sketch, below.

Not cute image this time, which is most unlike me! I did, however create my own sentiment....cant recall the name of the font, at the moment and Cameron is currently using my laptop for a zoom chat with the boys.  I plumped for traditional Christmas colours, the green gingham paper was an oldie magazine freebie. The tag dies are a recent Ebay purchase, I added a wee circle die cut for effect, and two mitten die cuts. Also used paper doily, ribbon, lace and twine.

Christmas Animals with the Cuties

Good Morning my lovely blog chums.....I hope that this week has got off to a good start!

So, we have a wonderful new challenge, at

Our theme is
CHRISTMAS ANIMALS

Our lovely sponsors are our good friends at
Who have a fabulous prize up for grabs, for our lucky winner.

For my DT card, I used this little sweetie from Lili of the Valley, coloured with Promarkers of course, but went for a mix of the traditional Red, with a more contemporary Mint green. The red paper is from a stack from The Works, and the minty dots paper was salvaged from my scrap box. I used a small scalloped die to create a border, and a Memory Box label die with similar shaped edge. I added ribbon and enamel dots. We do hope that you will join us for this challenge, but please remember.....your chosen image must be CUTE!!!

The One when James made a Snow Angel

Good Morning, my lovely blog chums.....I do hope that you've been having a good weekend.  The time has almost come for my hubby's shielding to be "paused", and as our restrictions have lessened, we have ventured out to the shops, a few times....have a few masks on rotation here, my favourite is a super pretty, Cath Kidston style floral print, which I am saving for best - can't even believe that I am typing those words, what have our lives become! Personally,  I  still don't intend to be going too far, or anywhere too peopley, but I guess we have to find our way in this funny old world.

I have another Christmas card, for the box, to share today.....
I am using the cutie that is James, from LOTV-snow angel stamp. I am using the good old Promarkers to colour. I used stickers
to create the snow effect. The textured snowflake paper is from a Martha  Stewart stack, the dotty paper is from a trimcraft stack. Have used a faux stitched square die, and two snowflake dies - one from Joaana Sheen, and one from Marianne. Button added for effect. Own sentiment, using Cinnamon cake font.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today, I will be back tomorrow with a new challenge from Christmas with the Cuties...ooooooh!

For now, stay safe xx

The One with the Squishy Hug!

Good Morning my lovely blog chums, hope your week is going well.
Hubby and I have decided that our back garden needs something of an overhaul, which is going to involve shed construction, wall building, decking, re-turfing - too big a job for us, so whilst we are waiting for quotes to be sent for the work, we have been mooching around looking at sheds - exciting.....not!!!! but hubby seems happy to be out and about, so I suppose that's something!

Garden planning has invaded my crafting time a little this week, but I did manage to squeeze in time yesterday, to make this.....
Once again I am using the adorable, Hearts and Hugs digi from LOTV, coloured with the old promarkers.  The papers are from a stack that came from The Range. The sentiment is also a LOTV digi. Kept the embellies simple with just a button and twine to match the image. I'm sure there have been times recently, when we could have all done with a big squishy hug like this one!!!

More Delightful Digi's with The Cutie Pies

Hello My Lovely Blog Chums.....I do hope you have had a smashing weekend. It was a bit of a mixed bag here, weather wise, I do hope you managed to enjoy some sunshine. On friday afternoon, I met up with a group of ladies from work for a "socially distanced" picnic, in the grounds of Rochester Castle....It was just lovely to spend time with other people, and to laugh and share stories about the last few months. Still no idea when, or even if at all, I will be back at work....but I've always got plenty to occupy myself with in the meantime.

It is week two of our Delightful Digi's challenge with
and I have a little bit of extra Cutie-ness inspiration, to share with you all.....

I got this digi from LOTV last year, sometimes I just use the mouse with the Christmas pudding, but as I decided to make a DL sized card, it seemed like a great time to bring in the rest of the gang! The lovely paper is from my bargain stack from The Works, I have added a pennant die cut with a stamped sentiment and a holly die.

The one with the dotty buttons

Good Morning to you, my lovely blog chums....hope this finds you well!  So after months and months, I had a trip to the hairdresser yesterday, woohoooo, I feel sooo much better for it, I hadn't even had a trim since January. I will try and add a before and after later.

So I am sharing the birthday card that I have made for my step-daughter, today......she always was a bit of a tom-boy, lol
I have used a super cute rubber stamp from LOTV, Annabel and her ball....I am using promarkers to colour. The pastel pink paper came from a stack from The Works, and the blue gingham is from my scrapbox. Doily from Joanna Sheen, flower die from YNS, buttons from stash, own sentiment using Cinammon Cake font.

Odd- Dog and the flowers

Hello,  my lovely blog chums! Hope the week has started well, we have actually been quite busy......the damper weather of the last week or so  made the grass in the back garden grow like mad, so I've been out attacking that....we seem to have an influx of grass darts growing out there, which are rotten things, if the dogs get them in their paws, I need to get the weed killer out!

Anyway, every now and then I get the urge to print and colour on something other than white.....today it was a Kraft kinda day.
I used a rubber stamp, for a change and used Promarkers to colour. Kept things very simple, with just a sentiment ribbon.

Delightful Digi's with The Cutie Pies

Good Morning, my lovely blog chums.....How are we? Did you have a good weekend?

We have ventured out into the world again....in a very cautious, social distancey sort of way, of course.  On Saturday, we drove down to Whitstable, but it was far too busy to feel comfortable, so we drove back to Seasalter and had a gloriously lovely walk along the sea front, followed by fish and chips for tea. I felt all sorts of achy yesterday, as it was a longer walk than what we have  become accustomed to, of late....obviously, I am just going to have to do it again!!!!

Anyway, we have a fab and fun new challenge starting this morning with
and I am super excited to tell you that the theme is
DELIGHTFUL DIGI STAMPS
this is your perfect opportunity to share your cutest digi's, and we cant wait to see them! I love, love, love my digi stamps, so this is just my cup of tea.....

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are our good friends at

who have a great prize for our lucky winner, you can also visit their fabulous store - just click on the badge!

I am also  using a Crafty Sentiments image....this was a magazine free download, from a while ago. I used promarkers to colour. The gingham paper is from a Cuddly Buddly printable set. The sentiment is my own creation, using Cinammon Cake font, and I think  that it sums up how I have tried to approach this year - things may not have been going the way we thought or planned, but we can still try to make the best of things and make it a happy time - having this blog and both of The Cutie challenges, has certainly helped with that.
I do hope that you will hop over and join us xx

The one that went Solo!

Good Morning my lovely blog chums ,  hope you are keeping well and are having a happy week! My daughter and her partner both have time off from work this week, and they asked us if we'd like to have a run out with them....now that hubby is "allowed" out more we have been slowly and cautiously venturing out a bit, and yesterday we went to Howletts Zoo with Megan and Jacob. Fortunately the weather was damp enough, that there wasn't a huge amount of people there, but it didn't rain during the time we were there, so it made for a very enjoyable time.

So a couple of days ago I featured this same little sweetie and his singing partner....unfortunately they have gone there separate ways (something about artistic differences!!!!) But I'm sure there will be a reunion at some point.....

He is, of course,  from LOTV, and is coloured with Promarkers. The embossed sentiment was a magazine freebie, and there is also a small section of embossing using cuttlebug, swiss dots folder. The paper jumped out at me from my scrap box, I've no idea of its origins. Kept the design sweet and simple, following  the sketch shown below.

Hello my lovely blog chums.....hope you've had a good day......anyone got any idea where the summer has gone, after a lovely start, the weather this week has been a  bit.....meh, as my son would say!! I do hope it perks up again.

Well, it might be a bit grey and breezy outside,  but I have something bright and cheery to share....

This is another recent "treat" from LOTV, it's a gorgeous little set with super cute images, and several gorgeous sentiments too. I have used Promarkers to colour, the gingham paper is a free printable from Polkdoodles.

The one with the carol singing

Hello my lovely blog chums,  hope you had a great weekend.  So slowly our lives are returning to some kind of normal. I hope that you are finding your way through at a pace, you are comfortable with.  We had to get cash to pay our roofer, so it was a trip to the bank for us this morning, and a first experience of queuing outside (any other trips to shops have been done during quiet times), guess its something to get used to!

I have still no idea, if and when I would be back to work, so I am trying to get my Christmas card box, as well stocked as I can, whilst I can......
These two little sweetie, from LOTV, often appear solo on my cards, but today they have formed a duet....I love the expression on both of their faces. I have used Promarkers to colour and added my own sentiment, which could well be what they are singing. I kept things simple, with just the addition of wooden embellishments.

Circles with Crafty Friends

Good Morning, my lovely blog chums......I hope that you've had a good week. So today sees a greater easing of our lockdown, with pubs and the like set to re-open.....and if I am honest, I am quite happy to continue shielding at home for another month! My worry is, that as these restrictions ease, the public perception will be that this wretched virus has gone away - that is clearly not the case, and I think we all have to adopt a more cautious life style going forward.

Anyway, we have a fab and fun new challenge with
Crafty Friends

and our theme is CIRCLES

Prize - One lucky winner will receive 3 single image digital stamps (2.50) of your choice from the on-line store.

For my DT card, I decided to do something slightly different from my usual style.....I used a sentiment that was kindly provided by our sponsors, together with a butterfly, which I tweaked and replicated using Serif page plus. I embossed white card using a faux stitched flower folder, I thought this lent itself to the circle theme. I  added a die cut butterfly and some sticky pearls.

I hope you will join us for this fun challenge, click here

Enjoy  your weekend......if you are venturing out, please take  care xx

The One with the little mousie

Hello, my lovely blog chums....I hope that you're having a good week. We have been in the process of having a porch built onto our house for some time now, it was needing to be of a decent size to accommodate hubby's mobility scooter, as well as the usual sort of porch stuff, and  unfortunately we were badly let down by our original builder. Not only was he unreliable about in coming to do the work, but the quality of the work turned out to be woefully below standard. Obviously things had to be paused for a while, but now we have another team of builders on the job, so hopefully it should be sorted soon.

With the porch roof being replaced today, it got hubby out from under my feet (I think he enjoyed having someone different to chat) and I took myself upstairs to make today's card.

This super cute Mouse with Flowers, is a recent treat from Lili of the Valley, and is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment also comes from LOTV, The plaid paper is from a stack from The Range. The top border was embossed with a cuttlebug folder and cut with a faux stitched die. I used a woodware envelope punch, and a couple of heart shaped buttons.
