Christmas with the Cuties #57

Hello there my lovely blog chums,  I do hope you've had a good weekend and didn't find yourselves too troubled by Storm Eunice. Lots of trees, roof tiles and fence panels damaged in my area, but very thankfully we were all fine, although a small branch blowing over the bonnet of my car as I drove home from work, was slightly unnerving.

Anyway,  my happy news today is that Christmas With The Cuties are back today, having taken a wee break after Christmas. 

The way that we do things is changing, slightly, this year.......we are now going to be a JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE, each of our challenges will be ANYTHING CUTE & CHRISTMAS, with an optional theme each month. Each of these optional themes will have a festive song connection,  so we hope that not only will you be crafting along with us this year  - but having a jolly good sing-song too!

So we kick of this year with

ANYTHING CUTE AND CHRISTMAS

Optional Theme: "Sleigh Bells Ring, are you listening?" (Feature a sleigh on your card)

For my own DT card,  I decided to use Christmas Sledge from LOTV, together with a circular sentiment, also from LOTV. I am using Promarkers to colour. The papers are NITWIT downloads. The sentiment was mounted onto a die cut tag with a cute, dotty button added to complete.

As You Like It Challenge favourite occasion - Christmas, I found my way into card making, with Christmas cards and it has remained my favourite, whilst I tend to favor cute, there is wiggle room for more traditional or elegant styles. I am happy to make Christmas cards throughout the year and I even created a whole blog challenge based on Christmas cards too!!

Favourite Colours.....and a bit of cake, at PASSION FOR MARKERS

 Hello again, my lovely blog chums......I'm back, with my second post of the week. If you are given to "doing" Valentines, then I hope you had a wonderfully romantic day yesterday. We don't tend to bother so much, ourselves, although the hubby did take me out for dinner on Sunday,  if that counts. 

Anyway, over at

its Team 2's week, and Karen gave us the theme of 

FAVOURITE COLOURS 

I always struggle with this theme,  having favourite colours, and then favourite colour combo's, but for my DT I went for the latter 

I love a bit of beige, ivory and pink together - much like a Neopolitan Ice Cream.

Who have a store stuffed with super fun digi's. They also supplied images for the team to work with and I couldn't resist this birthday cake. I am using Promarkers to colour. The sentiment is my own creation and it features "champagne limousine" font and ". The plaid paper is a Nitwit download. I added a wee wooden flower and enamel dots from YNS to complete.

Hearts, Flowers and Cutie Pies

 Hello there my lovely blog chums, hope this finds you keeping well. Did you have a good weekend? 

Anyway, its time for a new Cutie Pie Challenge, and as this is such an important time of year, for some of the special people in our lives, we have set our theme as

Hearts and Flowers - Valentines or Mother's Day

For my own DT card, I chose this lil' sweetie from Paper Nest Dolls. She is coloured with 

Promarkers. I created a border section with a couple of faux stitched dies. The sentiment is my own creation. The wee button embellishments were purchased, a while ago now, from Crafty Ribbons - who, as well some beautiful Ribbons, also have a great range of buttons too.

Spring Colours, with PASSION FOR MARKERS

 Good Morning my lovely blog chums....I hope that this finds you keeping well and that your week has got off to a good start. At the weekend, Cameron challenged me to have a go at this Wordle game thingy.....his usual gaming involves Fifa football teams or Call of Duty type games, so it was nice to see him doing something like this.....and now he has got me hooked!!! I'm on day 4, getting frustrated as there is only puzzle per day!!!

Januar  always feels like such a grey time of year, so Elaine has chosen the perfect theme to lift our spirits with.....

We were given the opportunity to work with a fabulous image from LeAnn's and I chose Jenna. She seems quite a funky gal, so she deserved a funky hair colour. The cute stripey paper was a remnant from my scrap box. The sentiment was created using a small embossed section, together with a die cut sentiment. I also added die cut balloons and a birthday pressie.
