Hope you're all having a good week! I am trying to make the best of things, considering this will be my last week as a "thirty-something"....arrhhhggh, I come over all peculiar every time I think about it!!! Im not really a one for wild parties (hangovers and me do not do well together) but am planning a day out in London on Saturday with my mum and my kids, going to do lots of touristy, sightseeing stuff. On Sunday its a bit of a family do, and then on Monday (the day itself) I've booked the day off from work and am planning to stay in my jim-jim's for most of the morning and then the hubby and I are heading out for a drive and stopping off for a bit of a pub lunch.........I have also dropped numerous very unsubtle hints that I would enjoy my lunch all the better for a trip to Oyster Stamps shop first, so we shall see.
Anyway, onto cards and such, and this is what I've been working on:
I Made it for the Dolly Mixtures challenge over on Docrafts. This completely yummy paper is from the stack I brought in Scotland and have been bursting to use. This is the new Lucy Cromwell set from Papermania, and you know sometimes you but a paper stack and there is the dodgy page that you would never ever use, well, in this stack there isnt one single duffer - they are all gorgeous! Have mounted my LOTV image onto a scalloped circle then onto a Nellie Snellen doily die. The three flowers are cut with a marianne die, the silver embelly came from a set from the works, I've added to it with a glittered brad. The sentiment was made used Callie hand font.
So, I would also like to enter this into these challenges:
divas by design - to die for
the squirrel and the fox - make it sparkle
passion for promarkers - glitter and pastels
bunny zoes crafts - girls, girls, girls
Thats me for now, as a certain wee furball is waiting for his walk, so i'll catch you later xx
