an injection of colour on a grey Sunday!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by, hope you're having a great weekend. Its been a grotty, grey, wet day here, although I didn't just about manage to get the dogs out for a run this morning.....then settled down with a cooked breakfast and watched a bit of "Little House on the Prairie".....its a bit of an old favourite of mine and I am working through a box set.
 
Washing the kitchen floor got ditched in favour of some much needed craft time....and this is the result
I have used the ever so sweet Wee Suzi from Wee stamps, and coloured her with Promarkers. I think the paper is from Dovecraft Garden Party stack, the flowers came from Mulberry Crafts, the Pearls and the button are from Hobby House, the sentiment is a Woodware stamp and the twine is from stash.

So enjoy the rest of the weekend my friends, Megan has been badgering me to go through a couple of 6th form prospectus' with her, so Mummy duties call, but will be back later xx

    OMG, Little House on the Prairie, that used to be on a Sunday morning when my eldest was a littley, we'd sit and watch it while lunch was cooking...happy days!!
    I certainly don't blame you foregoing the floor for a bit of crafting, what's the point when the four legged fiends just troop in muddy paws?!! I love the pretty colour combination and the ribbon and button look fab xx

    This is so gorgeous, very pretty colours :o)
    It has been so wet, wild and windy here too, and very dark grey except for about half an hour when the sun managed to break through!

    Oh my Lisa - I love your card! The lavender and yellow yell bright sunshine to me - so at least you brought it into your world here! The details in your design really make this card stand out: the pale design in your DP, that bow that is really unique in its structure and placement and the purple half pearls used as a dot on your "i" and as elements in your flower arrangement. I love looking at the details used to make a card special - and yours are very creative! Thanks for sharing your project in the “Any Sentiment” Challenge.
