Hello there my lovely blog chums......I hope this finds you keeping well.
Lots going on here, I've been and had my second vaccination - all OK, just another v. sore arm for a couple of days, then hubby and I took my mother and the dogs away for a long weekend break. We hired a caravan just outside Hastings, and despite the weather being a bit rainy, it was a smashing break....so lovely to be away from home. And today, I'm started back at work....having been on furlough and "leave" to look after Alistair following his surgery in January. It was an odd feeling, being back, I felt like the newbie all over again.....but there was an expectation on me to pretty much get on with things as if I'd never been away. I did feel a wee bit stressed by the time I'd finished my shift but hopefully tomorrow will feel better.
Anyway, we have a fabulous new challenge at
Where we are celebrating a fantastic 12 years of challenges, now, I've only been on the team for a few months, but it is such a wonderful challenge, it really is no surprise that its been running for such a long time. Ooooh, we do have a theme as well, which is
SPOTS & STRIPES
For my DT card, I am using the sweetest, Pure Innocence, image.....I have been a huge fan of Heather Ellis, for ages....these little characters put me in mind of the Dick Bruno "Miffy" books that I loved as a child. I am using Promarkers to colour, the papers are from a Dovecraft stack....I love these yummy colours.
