SSW2 #131

Hello my lovely blog chums, hope you're having a great week so far......can you believe we're nearly in March already. Although here in Kent, winter is still very much with us!!!

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge with SSW2
My DT card is based on this lovely sketch, I thoroughly enjoyed using it and I really hope, you will be inspired to join in with us this time.

My DT card features:
  • Daisy from Sugar Nellie (an oldie maybe, but still a favourite of mine!)
  • Coloured with ProMarker pens
  • Sentiment stamp from LOTV
  • Flower die from Your Next Dies
  • Butterfly and Cloud die
  • Flowery paper, I think, was a Papermania oldie
  • Gingham paper from my snippets box
  • Ribbon and pearls from stash
This stamp makes me think of warm, spring sunshine......do hope we start to see this soon, at moment I just want to tuck her t-shirt into her jeans, and get some warm socks and a big coat on, lol
As I was saying, winter is still very much with us in Kent, we have had, by our standards, heavy snow for the past couple of days and this was my back garden at 7am this morning
I ventured out and measured 18cms on our picnic table. I drove to work yesterday morning, as the roads were not too bad when I left home but after about 2hrs of more heavy snow, I bailed out and had a really scary drive home......got to go in today, so planning to wrap up and go on foot.
One of our family REALLY likes the snoww

I would like to enter these challenges:
allsorts challenge something beginning with B (blue, butterfly and bow)
di's digi designs - die cuts challenge
sweet stampin challenge - spring has sprung

Cheerio for now xx

  3. A lovely card Lisa and sketch. I might have a go at that one. Seeing your dog made me smile as ours have been so excited chasing each other round the garden, just like little children 😊 x

  7. Gorgeous card Lisa! The image is so sweet and wonderfully complimented by the papers, die cuts and ribbon. Love this card!
Nippy definitely looks to be enjoying the snow. Although I've not been out so tucked up indoors I'm not enjoying it as it stopped me going to my sit down yoga, crutches and snow do not go together :(. It's pretty to look at though. Debra x

  9. This is a lovely card Lisa, I love that image too, I really should dust it off and have a play. Your papers are so pretty and compliment the image perfectly.
I too have been walking to and from work this week,(it's 3.3 miles each way so helps the step count) but I did get a lift to almost home tonight from my boss which was nice.
