The one with the gingham cushion

Good morning to you my lovely blog chums....as we plough on through another week of lockdown, I hope that you are keeping well, and keeping your chin up! With everything else that is going on, I find it so comforting and reassuring that it's business as usual, here in the land of blog!

As soon as I spotted the newest releases from Lili of the Valley, I knew that me and this lil' fella had to be together....this digi is called Hearts & Hugs, I tweaked this name to make a cute sentiment!
I used ProMarkers for the colouring, this yummy gingham paper, I think, was from a Simple Stories pad. The sentiment is my own creation using Cinnamon Cake font, and finally X cut die button and a wee bit of twine.

I would like to enter these challenges please:

So I mentioned in a previous post that with Megan moving out, I have been able to create my own craft area in her old room. I am a funny one, in the sense that I prefer to stand up when I a card making, and had been looking at console table's and higher desks.....then I managed to acquire a baby changing table, which is the perfect height for me to work at and as great storage underneath! There are all sorts of other bits I hope to add in the fullness of time....when I can get to Ikea! But for now, I am chuffed to bits to have a little area of my own.....

Thank you for visiting me today xx

  1. Hi Lisa

Loving your card .. .. great paper piecing of that cute image.

There are some crafting things I like to do standing up .. .. but end up doing them in the kitchen where the worktops seem the ideal height. Your baby changing unit is a great idea though .. .. and you have lots of storage space too!

Have fun creating your craft space and have a good weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  3. This is so sweet Lisa and love your gingham cushion. I wouldn't be able to stand up and craft. I like to sit and ponder for a while (longer than a while sometimes) and it would make my back ache too. Have a lovely weekend x

  7. That's done it...I have been really good and not bought any of these little fellas but it seems I have to now I have seen your fantastic card!! Love that paper pieced heart, so good!! I colour sitting down but all construction is done standing up so that layers etc are level. The changing table is a brilliant idea, great height and storage too and the bracket hooks are fab xx
