Good Morning my lovely blog chums.....I hope that I find you in fine fettle today.
You may remember that my hubby was admitted to hospital, earlier in the year for surgery that left him with two Stoma's......his recovery had been a bit sluggish and he was taken back into hospital a couple of weeks ago, as his kidneys were not functioning properly and his potassium levels were very high. The blood test that diagnosed this problem had gone off to the lab, and the worrying result had triggered an ambulance to be sent to us to whip him straight into hospital, this all happened at about half two in the morning, we were all fast asleep and completely unaware of what was going on but as the ambulance crew could not get a reply at the front door, they called the fire brigade to our house, and were literally moments away from our back door being put through, when Cameron heard voices in the garden, he called me and we tentatively went down to see what on earth was going on.....OK, so it was a huge worry having Alistair taken into hospital in this way, but also a relief that these people in my back garden were not about to "slice and dice" me!!!! Himself has been lots better since he cam back home again, much brighter, his mobility has come along - not quite leaps and bounds, but getting there.
Anyway its time for a new challenge with
Add a Heart
Elaine has set this challenge and she doesn’t mind what you make as long as you include a heart on your creation somewhere. It can be as simple as a die cut heart, heart background paper, an image of a heart or including a heart, so definitely lots of scope with this challenge and we cannot wait to see what you make. Don’t forget you can enter any type of creation it doesn’t have to be a card. The only rule we have is that you have to use your markers, for example – Promarkers, Copics, Spectrum Noir, Karin Brushmarkers, Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to name just a few.
Our generous sponsor this week is Dies to Die For and they are offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store. There are lots of amazing brands in their store including MFT, Mama Elephant, Colorado Craft Company and Taylored Expressions to name just a few.
Such a sweet card Lisa- who doesn't love James! Beautiful colouring and design, the tiny heart button with twine is the perfect finishing touch.
